can’t believe i won’t have anything to look forward to the following saturdays T___Tand lol, is it just me…
haha yes i totally agree. he's so seroius sometimes, which as you said, might come off like hes saying random quotes cause hes so young, but i feel YCY could really benefit with someone whos so confident and reassuring as she often doubts herself. HMH is also way too serious all the time, he even says so in the earlier episode that he is not the type to play around alot or be goofy, but YCY often likes to mess around even on set (nothing obstructive, but just around down time) you see in the beginning he doesnt relaly want to play along because hes so concentrated, but you see in the later episodes he joins in her roleplaying or messing around on set. I feel like doing that sometimes generates ideas for scenes, so it's a good thing for HMH to learn not to be so uptight. Another thing with their personalities that they could learn from each othere. HMH said in an episode that he doesn't try to make people like him, he'll act like himself and get along with people who actually get along with the real him. YCY on the other hand said she tries to gets along with everyone, tries to be happy and joyful all the time, calls everyone brother and sister, laughs all the time, but that gets tiring. You can see this in the first episode, actually. Alot of people said HMH was acting kind of cold in the first couple episodes, but he wasnt really, he was always polite and responded to questions, but i think we're so used to pretending to be comfortable with someone we've just met, talking about anything, laughing at things that arent even funny, hiding the barrier that will always exist between someone youve just met, instead of treating well, a stranger, like a stranger! Then you see HMH slowly open up and get comfortable with her as they meet more and more and now he treats her as a genuine friend. I really dont think there should be anything wrong with acting more reserved around people you dont even know, and I think it takes alot of mental strain to act like that, which you could tell YCY gets exhuasted with. I think HMH taught YCY its ok to not be so cheerful and bubbly all the time if you don't want to be like that.
honestly it also taught me not to just assume how someone is when you first meet them. They're not mean just cause they don't act like your bff 3 seconds into meeting you, or respond to your every joke, etc. etc. I respect HMH for having that mindset.
Really bad dubbing that makes acting look sloppy ...honestly why do they fucking dub their dramas ...original…
sadly, the industry is very capitalistic, they want to put out as many dramas as possible to earn oney and dubbing saves heaps more time. even if a company didn't care about time or money, actors come from different regions of china and have very different accents, itd just sound weird if they all sound from different places when theyre meant to be living in the same city. you do find the odd drama with their real voices, and damn, its just so much better. im totally with you, and i wish theyd put more effort into it instead of taking the easy route of dubbing
well that is your bias, Its my first time seeing that actress her work and I can very much see how good she is.…
oh haha, yes, they'll be a memorable 2nd couple for me too. yeah, his shop name is "get lost!" "go away" ""f*** off" that sort of meaning. at the beginning when they didn't like each other and she was just setting up her store, she saw his store name and decided she wasnt going to give up and named her store "I won't get lost/i wont go away" to stand up to him. hahaha, its pretty funny cause the names summarise their personalities so well. she who is so clingy and he who likes to isolate himself and be alone lol.

oh cool. nice video, that mustve taken forever getting all the scenes XD lol, oh yes the book scene was so well done and so sad. Like he was getting a taste of his own medicine. thats a nice way to look at the way she scribbled all over his blank pages. I mean if you think about it, even their shop names. His says "get lost" and she was like oh hell no, "i won't get lost" lol, so funny. he thoguht he was a loser because he didnt have a stable job nor any money, but she was the one who told him whats importnt is his personality and all of those things are superficial. she taught him to love himself again. its kind of funny then that she ends up leaving and saying her job was unsuccesful and he tries to tell her her own advice: that it didnt matter if it was unsuccesful, but that she was making something of her own. he was left with all of her advice and wisdom, but not the girl who said those things XD
i love all the parallel's between the fake storyline and the real one. Like in HH and YYs drama, when he tries to hold her hand under the table, but then backs off only for her to grab his, that happened in the race car episode???? he said "lets hold hands and pretend to be our characters" but she was too shy so he was like "or not" and began walking away, but then she took his hand instead. Also the mobius ring they made, it became a mobius bracelet that took away his memories. its cool that they literally incorporated alot of things, even YYs real life story in having to work instead of study. i think the original title: "parellel universe" makes way more sense and is much cooler

oh also, when she moved out and said her business wasnt going well and he was trying to say "i thought it was going well. you didnt care about the profits, right?" it was like theyd switched roles, where he was trying to optimistic and she was the one being realistic, and all his efforts were too late to change her mind. sighhh. loved all their scenes lol

yeah i lovedddd that taxi scene. especially when he said "don't cry, you're breaking me heart" and then him in the shower afterwards wondering if he should've kissed her. I also cried when that new guy came to rennovate the store and broke that little fish/whale thing he got. i wish he'd given it to her anyway. when he held it on the floor it was so sad lol XD i really liked their story hahahaa

haha, yeah that blogpost is spot on from what i felt as well. yes, i think cause she stopped when she was rejected and tried to move on without "annoying" him anymore made her more believable as a character because it shows she wasnt just blindly chasing him without even thinking about how he feels. oh also her crying scenes were some of the best acting ever. i wanted to cry along with her, they were so good and realistic
Am I the only one who found those poems super awkward/cringey rather than romantic?
no. i just. why. lol. there are parts of this drama i love and then parts i despise. i just wanna take every episode and cut out hte bits i hate and rearrange all the nice parts into a nice coherent story because lets be real, the editing and story flow is aw.ful. the poems are first to go lol
yes. i was very impressed by his voice acting. really made me feel something as i am just sooo used to the same…
i really wanna watch Skate into Love because everyone praises it so much but i just cant cause I cant see the ML with anyone but the FL from Young blood lol. same with the thai drama My Husband-In-Law. I cant see mark with anyone else but mew. and Its Okay Not to be Okay. Ive been meaning to watch sun moon embracing the sun and You who came from teh stars, but now i cant because i only see him with seo yeji. i think this is a real drama disease LOL
this drama gets 10/10 already for me cause in ep 5 the girl wore jeans that werent highwaisted lol. ahh, i miss old jeans. such a classic style... where did it go haha. they suit her too.

actually i totally agree. there is nothing i despise more than that stupid trope of the silly dumb girl chasing blindly after the cold douchebag but with her, i just, i dont even know. I liked her so much. i think the actress did such a good job of making her silly but not immature, if you get what i mean. yes, shes a bit ditzy, but she's not stupid. she can drive, she can run a business, she cant cook but when she realises this, she learns how to cook and makes it better. I feel she was a little too pushy when it came to visiting his parents without his permission, but i'll just let that slide. I feel like if he were a normal man, the way she approached him was a bit overboard, but seeing the way he was acting, how unhealthy and depressed he was, i think its a little bit justifed if someone, anyone, just kind of barges into his life and wakes up him. I mean, even the ML and his parents, they didnt really do anythign for him when he was stuck in that toxic mindset. they just left him alone and watched him secllude further to a point where he couldnt get out without external help. Her actions were rash, and probably quite rude if things didnt turn out well, but it pushed him back into a living state, and even tho she was essentially a stranger and not someone close to him, thank goodness someone did something. everything came from a good place too. so yeah, i adored their scenes, both of them weren't perfect and it was super messy, but i almost liked it more because of that.
Honestly, I loved it! It was just purely romantic giddiness. There was no pushy ML that mean to the girl and no…
yes. i was very impressed by his voice acting. really made me feel something as i am just sooo used to the same old dubbed voices that are in every cdrama. he did that so well. i cry lol, glad someone else picked up on his voice breaks and stuff, they alwayss made the scene better
