this is super cute so far and I have never seen a jdrama subbed so quickly lol. this must be super popular or expensive or something???????? Well the fact that it has 16 episodes shows that it's probably one of the more anticipated shows
For me the Drama also dragged for a moment, up to ep 42 - i didn't know if i should continue, speed up etc. But…
I'm glad you liked it cause I certainly did appreciate the amount of money spent on the the CGI and sets and I could tell all the actors really cared about portraying their characters, it was just the script that I ended up hating. But yeah, I did finish it (with lots of skipping aha) and I will say the ending part is better then the majority of the show
omg. i wish someone would sub this. I'm gonna request it on viki, I suggest everyone else request it too and maybe we'll see it picked up! fighting! haha
I didn't read the manga so when I watched this movie I could tell the story was trying to include as much as it…
I also really liked the female leads character. She was more mature then most FL and didn't try to act cute. She spoke like a normal person and was charismatic naturally.
I didn't read the manga so when I watched this movie I could tell the story was trying to include as much as it could, but I really really enjoyed it. The acting was superb, I found both leads really cute together, I liked the friendship arc that's tackled right at the beginning, it was a really nice, sweet movie. If you want to see a fuller story of it, just read the manga, this movie was fun and full of heart and perfect to watch to take a break from full length dramas.
I liked this drama in the beginning because it was like an epic fantasy chronicle with a whole world to explore with many characters (which is often done in cdrama) but this time with a high budget and good actors, but by about 2/3 of the way I just couldn't anymore. The story dragged so much. There was no more content to give. The story kept rehashing the same old conflicts and even when something important happened It felt shallow and glossed over, like they rushed through the event, which is so weird because they had SO much time. They ruined the drama by making it this long so although I loved it at the beginning, near the end I just wanted it to be over. This is coming from someone who frequently watches cdrama and is used to 30, 40 eps to tell an idol drama and 60,70, 90 (omg)eps to tell a costume/fantasy drama. I'm wondering if I should continue to tolerate these insane episode counts anymore, just for the chance that I find a worthwhile show, because more often then not I am left disappointed (and 3 days behind whatever the hell I was supposed to be doing irl lol) all for nothing. Seriously, this needs to stop. I know why it exists, (money and that episode quote thing the government had/has(??) for period dramas) but all the dramas are being ruined by it. It's like a plague that's infected the cdrama world. someone cure it before I (and others) jump ship to save ourselves.
especially at the beginning of the drama, the exotic setting, the mysterious storytelling, the magic, the strange characters, the intense and seasoned acting, even to something as simple as the colour grading, it felt like watching something enchanting, breathtaking, unfurling in the hidden places of the world, while the mundane continued their lives on the surface
oh man, i was rooting for ha min right till the end. I know jooha treated kimha better in this season but this was also when kimha was a nice person. She wasn't very nice in the first season but min still stuck with her despite being the only one who knew all about her lies and stuff. Like, they were both kind of messed up but that's what made their bond stronger then with their other friends because they were similar, but then in season 2 they suddenly acted like strangers and had 0 interaction which didn't make any sense cause they were like bffs in the original storyline. Anyway, i shipped them cause they both weren't the purest nicest people and suited each other (i still love them tho. theyre my fav characters) and also i felt like kimha needed min's blunt comments to snap out of her lies and stuff. In fact, I think jooha is too nice for kimha XD but then again i feel like her personality changed drastically in S2 so i guess this kimha 2.0 does suit jooha better and is too good for min now who's still kind of a jerk. Then again they did such a big disservice to min, just sending him off to america on his own, taking his graduation picture alone, his family problems, he didn't get the girl lol. I'm mad tho that even if kimha doesn't still like him, she's still his closest friend and yet she didn't care at all that he was going abroad to study, and didn't notice that he didn't want to go, which he defs got mad at her for, because he expected her to comfort him without him having to explain and yet she congratulated him. Also with his grades dropping drastically, no one even noticed how off he was (even when he went to play at the pc room). Like I don't know if it was weird writing or anything, but no one seemed to care about him or notice him even tho they were supposedly his best friends. Which you could say it was cause he was kind of jerk, but he was actually the one who always quietly watched over everyone and knew everyone's feelings all the time. Anywayyyyyy, this has turned into a min speech, but I wished his ending could've been a bit nicer. I'll be an awful person and hope in season 3 he comes back from abroad and kimha sees him in a new light lol and they get together (although i dont want jooha to be sad either) idek what im saying hahaha
omg. I have seen every version of this, it's almost too soon to watch this after the mainland chinese version just came out, but i'll probs end up watching it anyway. Am I the only one who can't get over this story? hahahaha
soohyun's character remains strong till the end. I knew he wasn't going to listen to hyunjin and kill him. He's stubborn to the end with what he thinks is right and how justice should be served and nothing will stop him from completing his mission. Usually a scene like that is when the killer puts his gun down for the first time and chooses life over death and it's meant to be his breaking point of becoming a new person, but soohyun right to the end kept his morals (think what you will of them). It was satisfying and sad at the same time that he couldn't trust the police to save everyone properly so in the end he was just like "no. i'll do it. whatever the consequences." Also phil was the best at the end and his final line was super sad, same with seulgi and hyunjin crying at the end also made me tear up. ughhh. The storyline wasn't 100% without flaws but it gave me the feels nonetheless.
This is a perfect short mystery/action drama that's different from the standard kdrama romcom. I really liked the actors and the themes and the the ost is very good and I must admit it did get some tears out of me. totally recommend if you want to watch something different but isn't 100000 eps long
this show will seriously make your heart flutter with the realistic acting, unique scenes and really pretty ost. The main lead is the one who sings the main song and it;s such a pretty song. All the characters are really interesting too and very full of humanity, and the acting is superb.
