What I am actually reading? This is the first time when i have like no idea what that drama is all about after…
lol same, it seemed like the backstory of each character was so random and weird like "the male lead is secretly a fish, is afraid of women and backflips when he gets scared" it sounds like someone's trolling but no, that's actually the real synopsis.

Title I Don't Love You Yet Spoiler
oh no. it ended. this story will always be heartfelt and untouchable and one-of-a-kind in dramaland. You can't…
also I loved Ren's song, it's atmosphere, lyrics and simplicity really encapsulates this whole show. It set the mood and described how everyone was feeling and i'm so glad they kept it playing amongst the episodes as an ost. the scene where Yo listens to the original version is very raw and touching, especially listening to the earnest voice of younger Ren. This story always ends so suddenly, it's like someones thrown cold water at you. I'm just sad it probs won't get another remake considering there's been so many aha

Yes, I don't like this Ryusei guy either but if he and the ex-girlfriend Maki are catalysts to Ren and Yo's relationship…
omg yes, i watched the ending too XD LOL they really were so awkward, I laughed so hard when they couldn't stop laughing, but this is defintely how long-term friends would act in that situation so it made it better. Ahhhh, we only got a small amount of time to show the "happy ending" but I expected as much LOL. A wedding scene would have been nice, but just to add because you haven't scene the chinese ver., the ending scenes and dialogues are all pretty much from the chinese ver. which I thought was interesting, because that means they used all the different versions to make this one. In the Chinese version Manman (yo) also visits Lufei (Ren) and confesses to him, except it's a funny scene instead of a heart-breaking crying scene because their friend had already told Lufei the wedding was off and that manman was coming to confess to him. As a result, when she arrives he puts on this depressed act like his life is over and she panics, causing him to Laugh his face off, to which she gets mad/cries LOL and I like that they added a different twist to that scene in this version. Their phone conversation is also almost identical as well, tho the chinese ver. added yo saying "best friend, if I and Ren fight, then you have to be on my side", but Ren's cute "Yo's taste in men has finally improved" is adorable. Ahhh, I really love Yo and Ren together, they're just such cute and earnest characters that you can't help but ship them. The actors brought them to life splendidly. I'll really miss this show. I should write a review but i'm too lazy aha

Some facts about the leads that you may find interesting:- Adachi Rika (Yo) and Shirasu Jin (Ren) have worked…
omg, theyre actually the same age in real life? That made the drama so much better and probably helped a lot in acting as best friends. I'm gonna miss these two aha

oh no. it ended. this story will always be heartfelt and untouchable and one-of-a-kind in dramaland. You can't find a better friends-to-lovers plot. I've watched a lot of similarly themed dramas, but capturing the right emotions in the way characters act, the dialogues, events, just the friendship between Ren and Yo and their heart-clenching "slow burn", I don't think there will ever be a better show that addresses this type of theme or builds up the tension and emotions perfectly. It's one of the rare shows where you feel the FL and ML are on equal grounds, have equal story lines, are equally complex (especially as often the FL is usually dislikable in a lot of dramas) and you just can't help but root for both of them. It's forever a classic.

this was really funny, and more slapstick then serious so it was kind of weird because kento is such a good actor, so the sad scenes made me feel like I was watching a touching melo but then he'd like, jump off a building into a pool HAHAA so like there's that. It was so entertaining tho, and the biggest budget I've ever seen in a liveaction, like the CGI and special effects were something else. I also found their romeo and juliet stage very touching, like it could've been in a more serious show and I would've cried LOL

oooh, an interesting job drama, im all for it., especially if the male lead isn't a ceo LOL, but then again if he's the pilot I guess he's still the boss XD but ya know

omg. i loved how realistic the male leads acting was. I really liked his backstory too, how everyone (including himself) believed his only good quality was his looks (except for his mom who hated him for it) until Karin comes along. I also really liked how he told his mom "what's wrong with liking someone for their looks?" it was the best moment for me.
btw the comedy in this was hilarious, especially the broken down house. omgggggggg

Lol, the best part about this drama was the second lead, rich boy Mingyu, He was adorable and the nicest rich person I've ever seen in any drama. He always helped his friends and was never mean to other people and even used his wealth to employee his friends, give them houses for free lol. He was also the most extravagant rich guy i've ever seen. did this man really rip up a priceless painting to wipe the female leads wound with it and then threw it on the street after she told him she was fine. LOL he also bought 10 diamond rings to propose to her with, and after she rejected him, he threw all of them in the trash after asking if they counted as "recyclable or general waste?" as he'd never thrown away his own trash before LOL. Not to mention he has a soft spot for salespeople and their children's university fees and so never gets a refund for anything, and would rather pay for something in "instalments" (the disgust) then be caught dead returning something LOL as it hurts his pride. This is highly illustrated when said female lead fishes the rings out of the trash and makes him refund them... which doesn't go to plan as he comes back with 5 more rings due to his inability to return them HAHAHAHA. he kept trying but i cant actually remember a scene where he successfully returned them..... anyway, he was super cute, especially when he went to buy a cheap suit and was like "polyster? isn't that what they make plastic ropes out of!?" like he was too sweet

I agree with you. I have always liked the speech by Maki to Yo in all the versions. Yo is indeed a "baka" that…
yep that's so perfect XD both Ren and Yo have been big stubborn bakas and it's gonna take the ex girlfriend speaking up and being quite harsh to our main girl (although she defs deserves it even tho i loveee Yo) and the douchey Ryusei to push Ren far enough to stop being stupid.
Yeah, i've always viewed that proposal as something done purely on adrenaline without anyone thinking straight. Even Ryusei, in that moment for sure believed he could disregard his career or goals in life and just be happy with Yo's presence and nothing else. It wasn't like he was being insincere or manipulative or saying things he didn't mean, it's just in that near-death situation, he's not thinking as his usual self. As soon as he calms down, gets back into his normal life/routine, he's gonna have trouble keeping all his promises. Same with Yo, only after she's calmed down is she gonna realise things she'd disregarded in the heat of the moment.

I highly doubt that'd happen, knowing Japan's usual take on romantic scenes, however, this show has been pretty surprisingly, with all the characters being quite affectionate, so we'll see XD I've actually gotten so into the show I can't even imagine Ren and Yo acting coupley because they've been best friends for so long 0.o The was one thing I liked about the korean version, they showed that weirded-out awkward feeling of friends-turned-lovers that is always hilarious to watch haha

for 13 and 14:
welp, everything's exposed! All of Ren's secrets are finally out in the air for Yo to see. We can thank their friends and family for that. Seems they've finally had enough with Yo and Ren's back-and-forth feelings because in these two last episodes, the mothers, sister, brother, coworkers, highschool friends, local bar manager, even the exgirlfriend XD was just like "listen..." LOL. I'm so glad they kept Maki's f u speech in their to Yo. It's always been a favourite part of mine in the series, especially when Yo asks if she's being serious, but to make her ask Ren herself (and also to taste her own medicine), she doesn't tell Yo whether she's speaking truthfully or not. It's really like Yo's wakeup call to make her realise she's not as innocent as she thinks she is. I also have always loved the bestfriend's in Shanghai who mirror Ren and Yo's situation, and how they help Ren think about himself. The two of them are always SUPER cute, no matter the version, and Ren's bromance with the guy is always the best.
ANd ahhhh, the plane crash/car crash. The moment that shakes Ryusei's personality long enough for Yo to agree to marry him, and the event that causes her to go along with it due to fear. I hate this part because it's so not fair to Ren, but I also love it because it's the only explanation I could think of where someone would willingly marry the "wrong guy" while thinking he's the right guy. Yo's logic only works here, where she's running on Adrenalin and scared that Ryusei would disappear/die like he'd done in the past and when she tries to find negative points about Ryusei, she can't because he's shaken up from the accident and treating her differently then the usual.

For ep 11-12:
Woah, i didnt expect that outburst Ren had about the voicemail when he met Yo and ryusei. I thought his character wouldn't dare to say anything hinting at his feelings, because he respects Yo's decision to be with Ryusei too much, but then again it only happened because he was really really mad and hurt over thinking she'd deleted the message, which is why he was like #regret the next day. Welp, he's off to shanghai now to give Yo space because he knows his presence is just making everything worse. At least he got a little jab at Ryusei by telling him at the bar "Yo will never change, things she got tired about in the past, she'll get tired of again" something along those lines LOL
