As everyone else says, it’s a “you have to watch it yourself” drama. I find it entertaining and love it but I understand it has a lot of elements that others don’t understand or don’t like.

I think it reached 23000 and got a post but after that there’s been no news. Fans have been complaining about it because they feel it should have surpassed that figure by now and possibly has but Tencent is keeping mum.

It’s all about personal preference. This show doesn’t work for some. Some didn’t like a bubbly heroine. Some didn’t like a greyish hero. It also had a lot of foreshadowing and set up, which I think a lot of viewers aren’t used to anymore and thought it was plot issues.
Most who didn’t like the drama have left their rating and gone. A lot of those who do like the drama haven’t rated it yet.
I wouldn’t mind the MDL rating. It isn’t one drama investors look at anyway. The show is doing okayish for now in the charts that do count. It has managed to stay in the Top 5 on some popularity charts despite being the only one to be a solo broadcast. It also debuted at #1 on Maoyan and the characters have made it to the Top 3 on Weibo charts and Top 5 on Vlinkage. Peng Xiao Ren was recognised by DataWin. For a show that didn’t have a trailer 3 months ago, it’s really doing well.

Director apparently liked the video so maybe he begged instead😂 It’s a shame they didn’t go with these looks though but I guess they’re too sweet.

I keep going back to the beginning to catch all the details I missed.

Xiao Ran was too beautiful during the fire scene though it felt like they’re are multiple directors again. Whoever shot this scene can shoot women very well, absolutely captured her beauty.
The fried hair look was too cute! Seeing the matching in looks during such a serious moment was super sweet. The lantern scene was cute too. Really loving this relationship dynamic where they obviously like each other, fml has her own means of independence , and she’s not a pushover or a sacrificial lamb for the relationship.
Also hats off to this screenwriter, the details are really so good.I especially like how Jiman’s problems as a businesswoman intertwine neatly with the corruption issue in Haifang therefore naturally bringing NYX without it feeling forced and vice versa

I don’t use either of those sites sorry. I know Twitter has a few fan accounts but I haven’t followed them in years and they rarely offered more than basic information.

In the tidbits, she falls into his arms and it’s sweet enough for cavities. Maybe it’ll happen next episode, a lot of the tidbits seem to be in the show though they did cut the smouldering look in the wood house scene.
I don’t think NSY is dead at all either. A farmer found her and by the time the corpse was autopsied, it probably wouldn’t have been identifiable other than with the clothes.

This show is really perfect for bingeing. I think I’m gonna have a binge watch party with my buddies once the show is finished broadcasting.

They look cute even covered in smoke damage. And the sneak attack kiss that actually looks like a sneak attack kiss😭I really want to eat 10 bowls of this.

Yeah, this such a heart warming drama. Maybe it doesn’t always produce a big laugh but it keeps you grinning the whole time.

It’s Director Ze. His pacing is really impeccable. He may have no aesthetics but you’ll be so engrossed watching you won’t notice.

I haven’t watched yet but I heard it was a female body with the clothes and stuff. There could still be a chance for NSY if they can’t identify her by face but I doubt it’s as a good guy.

Yeah, this feels like a plot twist you can see from 100 miles away. If it was in a state of decay, there’s a strong chance there’s been a switch.

Is it confirmed? Tbh her death in the book is pretty anticlimactic as well. However, if she’s dead how will they prove Jiman is not Jiman later?

I have a feeling she may be a last card from Ling if she’s still alive. There’s a scene with Ji Man being arrested in her official gear.
