I can’t find it on the WeTV app, not even with the search function. I only saw its short appear on the Croton YouTube channel.
For Immortality, Tencent held onto it for the summer file despite the fact that it would have been popular no matter when it aired. Unfortunately when it was ready, the soft ban on bl hit making it pretty much impossible to air. Now one of its actors has had a love “scandal” that will also impact whether it can air.

It feels like it doesn’t have the cash. I don’t even think Chongzi got a lot of promotion if I think about it. Seems like like the platform is hoping Yuguyao will save its life, which is stupid because it did the same thing for Immortality and now look at the show…
I’m low-key worried this isn’t going to get an English language release. It’s not on the English version of Tencent.

So,
according to the rumor mill, this show is going to get ZERO advertising- it will basically just air. There probably won’t be a trailer so just keep your eyes on Tencent, your faves, or this page.

Tbf, if it does air TV only, you can still watch it. A lot of Chinese TV channels have online streaming too. I rewatched a re-released version of Jun Jiu Ling recently that only aired on TV.

It will most likely do both simultaneously. It’s very rare to have these type of actors /shows only do a TV broadcast. Their audience is mostly online streaming.

It doesn’t have an internet platform is my understanding. It’s only got its TV platform which is great because being on TV is seen as an achievement.

They cut a lot out of the story and rearranged what was left so the plot doesn’t always make sense. They also removed the enemies to lovers plot line between the leads so it also doesn’t make sense.
The love story is pretty quiet with a few sweet moments (probably due to the cuts). It’s also very slow burn and low intensity compared to most shows so if passion is key then this show might not work.

Ahhhhhhh!!! I think I might have been right! Rumor has it PXR is in the new Jackie Chan film, Myth 2. If this is wrong, I’ll delete it but I don’t care if she’s the female lead or a cameo, I’m watching!😭😭😭

Really curious about PXR’s newest role. Xiao Ran’s finished filming in Beijing and is now heading to Xinjiang. If it’s the film I think it might be, then I pray the make up is top notch because PXR is in such good condition right now that a good makeup/costume job would push her looks to the stratosphere.

I feel like Yuguyao would be a summer vacation slot. Tencent really doesn’t have any dramas right now and the summer vacation slot is almost always held for show the platform is most optimistic about. I can’t see that changing unless they’re really hurting.
DitSB makes more sense since rumors have always said that it’s a cannon fodder/warm up drama.

Coming from the mess of the GMP tag on Weibo and I’m really hoping Tencent’s marketing doesn’t reference GMP. The GMP fans (show fans, character fans, and pairing fans) on Weibo are basically anti-fans at this point for any of the GMP leads so it’s just shooting any of their new dramas in the foot to mention it. It may draw a little less traffic at first but I think that’s the only way to give this show a chance.

I’m really glad to see this trend of gentler male leads. The last show I watched I got sucked in partially because the male lead was so good to the female lead as well. Maybe it’s because I’m getting older, but cold and/or cruel male leads have lost their flavour.
