Title Good Bye, My Princess Spoiler
a) After returning to the palace, the 5th prince is shown being loving and attentive towards his 'mother'. In…
a) He learns about his biological mother’s murder in Xizhou from Mu Chai and Mingyuan. It’s very early on and what essentially sets him up for the revenge line. When he returns to Central Plains, he’s basically putting on an act for his adoptive mother. This page is the first edit so the scene might not be there as the Director’s Cut version of the drama added some scenes that flesh out Li Chengyin’s storyline more.
b) Not until he returns to Central Plains, I think. The reveal is actually a plot point but he definitely doesn’t know before he betrays Xiao Feng.

Many dramas by different actors: they are like that on hold. I get it in China. But Peng Xiaoran's dramas are…
Peng Xiao Ran’s dramas sit in stock for a long time. Her fans were/are dying because we’ve had to wait so long for some😂. Only To Our Dreamland of Ice had a fast debut but that’s because it was a tribute drama. This isn’t a tribute drama though it has some patriotic elements.
Unfortunately, I think it will still be awhile for this drama to air unless the miraculous happens . It still doesn’t have an online platform and I haven’t heard any news of it trying to attract investment despite it making the charts. It also doesn’t have a license yet either.
It may still be in post production too. The director has won an award for their directing and I’ve heard they are very conscientious but the script may not be so great so it’s also possible they’re editing the show carefully so it’s good.

is there a reason why this hasn't aired yet? I put this on my PTW a years ago and forgot about it don't tell me…
It went under the drama review again a few months ago and there’s been no word of approval.

I really hope they air this soon! The problem with shelving dramas for so long is it can get dated. Unless it…
It hasn’t gotten the license yet. It apparently had a re-edit a few months ago so it had to go under review again. It’s also scheduled to air on TV and TV shows if the actors aren’t big, can have notoriously long wait times. The drama with Yang Zi and Xiao Zhan took several years to air too and they are very big names. Add to that, this production company is notorious for long times- like YEARS. I swear I saw dramas on its stock list made 5+ years ago.

Chong Zi already ended. Hope this one gets the slot. Idk how many dramas Tencent can air at a time. From the rumors,…
They usually don’t air the same type of show unless it’s not doing well. I’ve not heard of Royal Rumor but I don’t think Lord Snow Eagle has the license yet.

Other Tencent upcoming dramas are on Viki but this drama is not. Let's request this as well. 😊https://support.viki.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034633713-Request-a-TV-Show-or-Movie
Done!

The casts are really good looking. And I see some pretty dresses this time. We are winning. 😀💗
Yeah, this is legit one of the prettiest casts I’ve seen in a long time. Men and women-everyone objectively looks great! It’s a beauty hound’s paradise!

Getting another tidbit today!!! This show is really full of beauties🥹🥹🥹:https://m.weibo.cn/detail/4876987968260547
Feel like this show harkens back to older Cdramas when every actress was pretty good looking in their own way and there wasn’t all this nonsense about setting off the protagonist.

I can't with the female casts' dresses they all look so low quality. 💀😭 Thank God they're all good looking…
I’ve never seen a drama with so many obviously beautiful women dressed so plain😭. Makes it hard to believe the director ever worked on Zhen Huan or the stylist on AoL. The only saving grace is most of these photos look in situ which means the filming hopefully looks this quality too.

Just saw the stills. The make-up is really light/nonexistent but at least everyone in this crew is really good looking and can handle it.😂 Jiman looks like Li Binghe with less makeup so I’m satisfied.🥹

The editing ruins the drama for sure but the acting is alright, better than a lot of idol dramas. I still rewatch…
Well if you like the main actress, then it’s worth it. I recommend just fast forwarding to scenes with the actress.
She’s very cute and lively as an official and the male lead for the most part treats the heroine very well. He respects and loves her intelligence and later on, he’s very doting.

It really depends on what you’re looking for in a story. For me it was worth watching because I like the actress a lot and I will watch her in anything. Unfortunately, because the story has been massively edited, the plot isn’t very good and some things may be difficult to understand because the plot jumps too fast. However, I also liked watching the main pairing because I liked their dynamic and thought their chemistry was interesting and they do have a happy ending.

is it that bad ?
The editing ruins the drama for sure but the acting is alright, better than a lot of idol dramas. I still rewatch it but mostly for the main couple’s scenes.

Lol I was wondering what the situation with the twin sister was but when I checked out the original novel it was…
It’s a shame transmigration plots are banned, especially since so many stories use that plot but I think a secret twin plot line is one of the more believable ways to change the plot and also works for the times when Jiman’s body was overtaken by the original owner but I hope the screenwriter explains how it happened well. Otherwise, this show might get torn apart.
I didn’t like the twins concept at first but considering the issues with censorship lately, it actually might be a good workaround. The evil twin trope could work really well in avoiding some of the cuts to the more gray events of the book since they’ll be done by a villain.
From the synopsis, it feels like the essence of the book is there but the details and journey have changed.

Title Romance of a Twin Flower Spoiler
And the dudes in love with her were low-key scumbags in the book so there wasn’t really any angst over them…
The drama is a light comedy and the author said the script is completely different from the book so I don’t think it will have much angst tbh.
Plus there’s no way the things the hero did in the book would be allowed to air today. From the synopsis and the tidbits, I get the impression that it’s going be a humorous strangers to lovers storyline.

The middle always makes me glad the show aired in a different sequence to the book. I think if the original sequence…
I always felt like that part was to flesh out Li Cheng yin’s character like Xizhou fleshed out Xiaofeng but it really needed to be tighter and most of the Xiao Feng at the bar scenes needed to go.

Amazing drama but could have really benefited with some major shortening, at least 10-15 episodes. And I’m not…
The middle always makes me glad the show aired in a different sequence to the book. I think if the original sequence was kept, this show wouldn’t have been nearly as iconic.
Li Mu Ge and the editor were geniuses for realising the airing the Xizhou arc first was necessary for the audience to fall in love with Xiao Feng early and keep them interested enough to follow the rest of the story to her tragic end. It built the world and set the tone for the rest of the drama. It also works well juxtaposed with Xiao Feng’s character at the end.
