I’m not sure who posts them and I don’t know if there’s a vetting process either but 6 of the unaired dramas are only rumors at this point. She hasn’t filmed them and I don’t believe they’ve even been opened. Tbh, I doubt she’ll star in some of them because they’ve been up for more than a year.
It’s not unusual for a drama to rumor an actor will star in it in C-ent. Especially if the actor has some popularity, it’s a bit of a publicity stunt. Sometimes the rumor mill has the cast right but not the show. It’s kinda messy and in the current environment, most advise not to believe an actor will be in a drama until they show up for the booting ceremony.

More movement on My Talented Neighbour. The director said it’s been submitted for review and once approved, it can be submitted to the platform. Praying it is a star drama, has good results, and a good reception 🙏🙏🙏.

Most of them are rumors. She has 3 dramas left to be aired: Romance of a Twin Flower, My Talented Neighbour, and Thrush.

I hope they market this drama well. If it has decent production and script, it might do well. The leads are good looking, have a visual sense of chemistry, and both should have decent acting in this drama (It’s an older dramas and both have greatly improved their skills since in newer dramas).

The director said in late December that it’s been submitted for review to the censors and once it gains approval, it can be submitted to the platform. Really praying this comes soon🙏. Hoping the second edit hasn’t butchered anything considering the first edit won a best new director award. I also hate that it’s on Youku again because the platform treats PXR like a bloodbank 😩but I really want to see Ranzi in a modern drama . 🥹

Yes, that line especially rang out really weird to me if it was their drunk encounter. They would have been too drunk to notice anything lol. In the deleted kiss scene Yezi is barely awake. Plus, Yezi’s line about being embarrassed makes more sense after a scene like like that and so does YXM’s coaxing reaction.
Tbh, I don’t understand why editors rearranged it. It’s not a big scene. They’re both adults and it’s not like the audience can’t tell what happened.

I read that too. That moment would have been so good to watch because ZZT seems to play off PXR quite well.

Unless it’s a big hit, no, in terms of gaining fans. Costume dramas, especially for her, are the easiest way to gain fans. That’s why so many rising stars try to shoot them. In fact when To Our Dreamland of Ice and Snow came out, some people refused to watch it, including her fans, because it was a tribute drama and wasn’t a costume drama.
However, if the drama airs on TV like it’s supposed to and is actually good quality, there’s a chance she may gain nationality with more people knowing who she is.

A few scenes that I think have been rearranged:
1. I think the “dream sequence “ during the seal breaking episode is actually scenes from the beginning arc/original first episodes. The original script has Yezi in Tianqi in the beginning arc. That explains Qi Hailan and Jie Zhuying’s appearance in the sequence. Also explains how Yezi knows where to find Yi Wuyou and gives an explanation for where Yezi and A’Rui were returning from and why everyone was so angry at Yezi during the first scenes. This is further supported in the flashback montage in episode 25 which starts with Yezi and YXM’s first meeting. The first shot is in the palace which happens to be in Tianqi and Yezi is wearing the same clothing as the dream sequence.
2. I think the bed scene in episode 21 actually happens after the milk tea exchange where the princess carry was supposed to happen. 1) In the edited sequence, they’re both really drunk. The way all their clothing has been carefully put away seems at odds with how drunk they appeared in the previous shot. It’s more likely that everything would have been strewn all over the place rather than hung up or taken off. Especially Yezi’s hair chain which seemed a bit complicated. 2) There’s also a scene of Yezi getting out of bed fully dressed and stretching that was cut that seems a more logical result of them being drunk. 3) It’s implied that they’ve slept together with most of their clothing removed but at the party Yezi says she will only be with the emperor. Sleeping with YXM that same night with no discovery of his true identity seems like a plot hole. 4)The way Yezi talks about her plan going too smoothly and seems so embarrassed and annoyed makes more sense after the betrothal scene than it does at the party because the betrothal scenes are the actual results of her scheming. Plus YXM grabbing her hand when she gets out bed has been cut and it’s possible there was more dialogue/actions that would have contradicted the edited version.

Also, not a rearranged scene but did anyone else notice that Yezi only sleeps calmly after marriage? I thought that was really sweet.

The ending is a mess due to editing😂The last fight scene is good though and the scenes between the main couple are nice and well acted. Yezi and Yu Xiuming end up together. YWY goes offline( but it’s better to watch the BTS of his death than the actual scene). Vice couple get married and have kids. The first son from the Ping Family and the Crane Princess have a kid.

This edit job deserves an F. They left so much random stuff in that then becomes confusing when there’s no resolution.
Maybe they intended to have him in the final arc where he might have showed up again but Youku cut it. I read a rumor that the show might have been cut to 25 episodes to fit in Youku’s airing schedule which seems believable since there’s a restriction on how many costume drama episodes can air a year.

Yeah, it’s interesting that it doesn’t seem to have the love triangle plot line at first glance. Also since it’s dubbed, I wonder if it’s been changed to make more sense. It would interesting to see how it’s received.

25 episodes like what was released on Youku so I doubt there’s new content but interestingly the Thai trailer has a different feeling from the Chinese one.

This probably got cut too to make Yezi more defenceless but it seems like it was making her better at astrology/more capable of accessing the Time Masters in what was left. Rewatching the show, I’m not sure it would have made her super powered rather than the same thing plus ease her discomfort/make her “able-bodied” in the world since Princess Lian states having her magic sealed feels like being crippled and the dark arts guys had issues as well when he thought he couldn’t access magic.
Maybe the full results would have been in the arc that was cut. The show doesn’t go into it enough but there seems to be different kinds of magic and Yezi’s father while powerful didn’t really seem to have very useful/quick magic on the battlefield.

They cut his part like everything else in the show.These editors really were on one.😂

I’m really wondering too. There’s not too many 90s or 95s willing to play second fiddle so much anymore unless they go to someone who has only been 2nd male lead so far. If that’s the case, it would be nice if it was Wang Youshou (They looked so nice together and had such good offscreen chemistry). Her last rumor was Xu Zhengxi or Zheng Yecheng. Maybe it’s one of those two unless it’s a drama where first billing goes to the male lead like SJFY. Then the possibilities open up wider.
Tbh, it’s a pipe dream but I would love to see her some day act with Chen Kun. They are both ridiculously gorgeous and to some extent they’re both character actors so if the elements were right, I feel they’d give such a good performance.

PXR already had to sit out 2 years during what would have been her “peak” years. I don’t think she’s afraid of waiting anymore. And, I think despite her fan’s criticisms, she’s actually in a better place now than she was after GMP. She has 4 dramas out now. She has a masterpiece. Xiao Feng gets pulled out even by CCTV. 3 of her dramas have been widely discussed. 2 of them have characters highly rated by viewers. She’s done main theme dramas and been praised for it. Even received a prestigious nomination which some bigger 90 flowers did not get. She might not have won but she’s also won some other awards. And even SJFY, with all its problems, has introduced her to an older crowd and shown that she can partner with more experienced actors. Her fans should be proud and looking at the bigger picture instead of criticising (which drives away new fans).
Good news is I saw a rumor today that she may be the lead for Emperor Ji which has the same author as Jun Jiu Ling. If the team is good, then I’m here for it. I’m not even fussed by the male lead because I only watch her shows for her.

Me too! Her latest photoshoots have been soooo pretty She’s definitely in the perfect state to be in the group. She seems to be recovering from what looks like Covid now but hopefully there will be drama news soon🙏. From her last interview it seems she has scripts but hasn’t found a role that she likes yet.
Not going to lie tho. I really wish the rumors of Sifang Pavilion with Zheng Yecheng were true. It would have been such a good combo and we would have seen PXR as an antagonist.
