Although I’m not a fan of Dilreba, she really has atmosphere when taking photos. It’s something PXR lacks. I think it’s because she really needs a team she’s comfortable with. All the shoots that are popular, she’s visibly relaxed. It seems when she does the big shoots, she’s not always comfortable and comes across as stiff so they’re not as popular. But when she’s comfortable, she’s super beautiful. The one candid shot of her in a red dress looking off to the side is full of so much atmosphere I lost my sh*t when I saw it. I always wonder what happened in the years after GMP aired because it seemed like as much as she was fighting to stay on the scene, her confidence was in the pits. It seems like she’s found some equilibrium recently though so I hope she can keep her space in the industry.
In C-ent there’s been sustained attacks on many talented and beautiful actresses lately, many who used to have a pretty good relationship with passerby fans like Yang Mi and Yang Zi. And unfortunately PXR is also becoming a target of some of that hate because of SJFY I guess. I just hope whatever is going on calms down. It’s making it hard to follow actresses in general. And the replacements marketing suggests are good actresses are not faces or skills I can eat at all without getting food poison.😭

Have you seen the recent photoshoots? Absolutely top-tier! I was like no wonder none of the marketing accounts took her out to play, she would have bodied so many other actresses, it probably would have caused a fight.😩

Haha, I’m glad I’m not the only one. Can’t believe they dropped a couple like this and then cut the parts everyone wanted to see. I’m really going to die with regrets if we never get the full cut of the 2nd library scene.😭

DYX fans have been promoting it. Tbh, I think the plain looks of PXR plus some other dealings in the show, made a lot of PXR fans put this show on the back burner but now that SJFY has aired, they’re giving it more attention too. Plus, Xiao Ran’s photoshoots have been amazing these last two days and her fans are always motivated by beauty. 😂

The drama is finally starting to climb the expectations charts! Haha, even with a few shoddy posters as its promotional materials it’s risen on the Datawin list today to #8.🎊🎊🎊

Ranzi’s song as a participant in today’s Baihuayingchun Festival. She’s so pretty! It’s a bit unbelievable but her appearance really hasn’t changed too much from 2019 or even 2017/8.

Haha, nah that’s a photoshop from another drama😂. They really don’t vet things on this site. The one good look isn’t even a costume, it’s just her with a crown but the makeup is gorgeous even far away. If I find a video, I’ll link it.

The wild thing is these shots aren’t even posed shots, they’re action shots, which means this crew didn’t even take the time to shoot posters. But these action shots are not even as good as SJFY’s grainy af stills and definitely can’t compare to the stills of GMP or ToDoI.
I can’t even talk about comparing the posters to other dramas… these posters don’t even look as good as some show’s Reuters. 💀
Looking at how everyone else in the show has good quality solo stills and Jiman does not and neither does the main pairing, I dread that like RoTP, Fuyao, SoPJ, and SJFY, this show will also make the mistake of underestimating the value of the heroine.

PXR’s state during this drama was pretty much perfect considering she shot ToDoI right after and Li Binghe is gorgeous despite PXR being in a half exhausted state. The stylist is from AoL what is it I’m looking at?
I’ve got to go console myself with PXR’s Spring Gala broadcast tonight. At least there I’ll see some pretty dresses. 😭

It’s another low quality poster. I really don’t get this show’s promotion strategy and I’ve never seen a marketing job like this.
Why doesn’t Jiman have a single decent high quality, high definition shot when everyone else does? Is this some kind of marketing strategy to turn the show into a dark horse? Or has Director Xie done a poor job of shooting again?
Ji Man’s costumes are plain af. Her makeup is plain af. The show is really doing 0 percent. What can fans do to promote it? 😩

In the beginning of the book Jiman is being “punished” for being a bad wife. She gets demoted from principal wife or something like that. If I remember correctly that also included wearing pretty plain clothes so that may be the deal with the plain clothes (hoping and praying that’s the deal 😭).
