Because what they are reacting to in the new dub might not be what they were reacting to originally.

I feel like post production got affected by the scandal that caused the major plot cuts and focus shifted from trying to produce a quality product to just trying to make sure it aired. A lot of fans were worried it would be buried.

The reviewer for this show must have been on an absolute power trip. After looking at the stills, they cut out part of the kiss scene too and I also definitely feel like they messed with dub. That’s why the acting is so weird for some characters.

Gotta blame the author. If he had kept his mouth shut, the show wouldn’t have been implicated or cut up as bad as it has been. This result is pretty much 100% his fault. As it is, fans of the actors just have to be grateful the show could even air because usually in these types of scenarios the show gets buried and never aired.

The fans are still working hard though despite the cuts! They cut a video to show all the angles of the kiss scene in the tidbits. I feel like if some hero just leaked the raw version, the fans would definitely just cut their own series😂😂😂
Normally I'd be the first to censor a Cdrama for being boring, but I'm surprisingly hooked on this one.
Yeah, I’m hooked too. Tbh the only boring part to me is the 2nd leads storyline. Everything and everyone else, I enjoy watching mostly due to the acting.

The triangle has been harmed by the Yi Wuyou cuts😩. Unfortunately rumor has it that most of the shots got cut because they might make him too sympathetic a character (which is what you need for the triangle plot line to work). Also, it seems like this show has romance but it’s the background of a larger story about power and career. From the trailers, if there’s any messy love triangle it’s probably going to be the political battle showdown seen in the trailer.
