She plays Mu Yumo, an assassin who specialises in poisonous insects. She’s the lead female role by rank but not the official match of Gong Jun’s character.

Can’t help you there🤷♂️. Bad or good, exciting plots bring views which is what investors care about. The hope is of course that the plot is good but if that isn’t possible, the show can still thrive if it’s exciting and more importantly, addicting. Other than that I’m here for PXR’s portrayal of Ling Cangcang, who I think is an interesting role. I usually enjoy what she does and trust her vision. Her last drama earned high TV ratings and the one before made the production company money. I also like acting foremost so plot doesn’t really matter to me if the character portrayals are good - especially in an age when entire storylines can be cut due to censorship. I just keep an open mind for everything else and stay optimistic.

Just have to wait for the end result. The worst thing for a drama is to be boring. Lots of drama in the plot can bring viewers and create discussion which is always a good thing.

No, I don’t think so. Without the scene list or script, I don’t know when this is in the drama but to me it looks like a scene of revealing the new Queen after the wedding.
