She might like Sheng Hao a lot but not exactly in love with him as he was in love with her. She might have thought he was such a good man and dependable and wanted to settle down. That would explain why she felt so insecure and had a sad face most of the time in drama, and why she decided to divorce him becos she realized she was married to a man that she did not love with her whole heart...

But if they had let Jirong remain dead, FL is dead too. Jirong's death was a result of FL's death (Jirong and brother were arguing over him turning himself for the hit and run when she fell). Don't forget time merge started becos of FL's death, not Jirong's.

I thought in an early part they showed FL had the accident at 10:06pm and passed away at 10:52pm. ML had the accident at 10:48pm and I guess passed away at 10:52pm.

I've finished this drama a few days ago and just remembered something... Last year, they released 2 short clips on My Deepest Dream at weibo but subsequently took it down. Did anyone saw those promotional clips? Becos those 2 scenes never appear in drama! I remember earlier when I was reading descriptions of drama at chinese sites, there was supposed to be an arc where ML became an entrepreneur and successful CEO. Those 2 promotional clips were from that arc. A happy ML discussing with his PA (who is that friend that opened the car repair service) how to handle the paparazzi on some dating scandal, and PA hands him a box that was delivered for him. He opened and got scared, some dead animal was in it.... That would explain why they skip several months in the time traveling... from August 2022, next time travel skip to Jan 2022.... urrrgghhhh we missed a huge chunk 😢

Dear Diary ending was a surprise-- they acknowledge the time travel happened and showed one of the characters visiting museum and recognizing an artifact uncovered in an excavation. Keeping fingers crossed for this drama ending....

lol, maybe cause I grew up in Asia and females physically hitting males is a "standard" in mangas and comedy films and tv series 😅 If you grow up on Japanese manga, FL's behaviour here is considered light touch 😅 in mangas, ML would have to call for ambulance...

I see FL's behaviour as self defense in shock. She is a sporty person and rough and tough type. She behaved the same way towards JSH as well, who is her best friend. And once ML showed her how bruised he got, she quit and started to treat him better. So it really isn't that bad, to equate her behaviour as physical violence.

I have no issues with FL. Becos when I put myself in her shoes, I think I would behave worse than her. If a stranger suddenly appears in my home for 46mins every night, and he is the opposite to my character, and would reprimand me on my eating habits and how poorly is my housekeeping skills, I think I would need at least about 2 weeks' time to accept the new situation and to be able to talk cordially to him 😅 I would most likely had moved out to a friend's house too. FL didn't do this becos she is quite athletic and daring person, so she stayed but keep hitting ML the first few times.... which I feel is acceptable 😅 ML personality is the type she doesn't like, under normal circumstances 😅
