Just want to point out it isn't just AvenueX, almost all the well-known cdrama reviewers are avoiding to review this. But we are more familiar with AveX becos she reviews in English. Other well-known ones are 哇妹，Low君, etc. Initially I was also disappointed that they are avoiding this becos of YXW. But on further thought, it is a kind gesture. Becos the comments under the review would eventually lead to discussions on the suicide, and have we considered how the deceased's family would feel to read on the comments and speculations?

Just want to point out most of the prominent cdrama reviewers are avoiding to review this (eg: WaMei, Low Jun). If you understand chinese and search at Bilibili, the reviewers that do recommend this drama are those with very small followings. It isn't just about whether ML was guilty or not, but bringing up an old suicide and speculating on what happened to her, is really not nice for her family and closed ones. Even if the review would not mention on the matter, comments would eventually lead there. This is probably not the main reason why reviewers are avoiding this drama, but in this case, I think they are kind not to review it.

I don't understand why they didn't build the various apartments and have to use CGI. saw some BTS that shows them acting a scene on a sofa and backdrop is green screen.... the CGI issues are especially bad when they are at ML's apartment....

FL is dumb at the beginning... I dunno why script wrote it that way but there are some behaviours in the initial eps that are eye rolling... But it gets better and FL starts behaving with intelligence 👍

Yes!! I have the same thought too. It is weird how she said Tan Jiao and Shen Shi Yan are the two people that she loves the most.... logically speaking she has only known Shen Shi Yan for a few days in that timeline, it might be a clue that she tries to inform Tan Jiao to be weary of Wu Yu.... There is also clue given away in the ending credits, there are 2 actors with 2 names listed in end credits. so killer could be either Wu Yu or the other guy ......

Ya.... most of the established cdrama reviewers are probably struggling with this, only 1 or 2 small-time reviewers have dared to recommend this drama at Bilibili. The details of what happened back then, leave a bad taste in the mouth. Regardless that YXW was investigated and found not involved. For me, this is just a drama, he is only playing a character, his personal life is irrelevant.

For those still in early eps, be warned that things can develop very fast and unexpectedly. The beginning parts of eps 9 and 12, don't be eating or drinking!! This is not a drama to watch at meal times 😅 I love this, most dramas pre-empt us with some build-up or music, the director just wham! us over the head unexpectedly....

6 directors (mix of experienced and inexperienced) are invited on the show. They have to write their own scripts or prepare scripts by others prior to show start, they pitch the script to a panel of producers to secure investments and funds, direct the short films within a deadline, program organizer rent a cinema with 6 theatres, they show their short films at the cinema to a group of public audience, audience rate the short films and finally panel of critics rare the films too. Base on box office results and ratings, winner is decided. There were 3 rounds. I love the program concept but I don't think iQiYi would do season 2. It was too controversial as 2 of the short films were were heavily edited due to sensitive topics, words, etc... viewers were quite upset.

The shooting only start in Feb 2022, end date uncertain as they have kept a very low profile. Modern dramas post production usually take about 4, 6 months. it should be releasing in Q4 2022 or early next year

Bu Guan Jin is why I watched S1 back then, and she is still the reason why I watch S2. Although plotwise my fav is Liang Shuang's story....
