And Wei Daxun, I almost couldn't recognize him! Love the storytelling too, this is how a slice-of-life period drama should look like-- down-to-earth, straightforward storytelling and actors look like they have little or no make-up ❤️ why, why do they have to re-edit 🥺

Whether actor knows how to play the pipa or not, is irrelevant.... Or they might know which music they will be using but when shooting, they have no ideal how the music would start. Don't think they play the actual music on set.
