Honestly after the ep 17 and 18 I would accept only if they got a chance to redo their life and they learned from their mistakes in this life and they take different decisions second time and alter their behaviour and it leads to happy ending. If they just survive by miracle or are dead in the end then it has no point and no message.
Yet, I do jot know how is it going to end and I just hope it is not a SE as then it would be a like Shakespearean tragedy.

There was one BTS for his other show where director instructs Li Fei and his FL how he wants the kissing scene to be. So they are like kissing and director is there like closely watching, stopping them, pouching his mouth, showing up down, then they kiss again, he stops them again points to the lips, tilts head opens mounth again, then they kiss again again, until he was satisified. And than we get that hot kissing scene. But process is 😳😳 🤣🤣🤣

I could argue that he is a person that always gets what he wants. Like he barely ever hears no. It is typical for persons of certain social standing or generals of the army to order around. Once he pinned for her, it is hard to let go. He would consider himself weak if he accepted the situation and moved on. It is borderline obsessive and ML is a typical redeemable yandere from manhuas 🤣.
What I find realistic here is the choice of his FL. Can you imagine this type of person with a strong willed FL? Even though we all would like she is a strong FL, in this case it would not be realistic as she would not need him as much and would not tolerate his obsessive behaviour. They would not be matched, as it is a transaction between personalities. She is not strong to fight for what she wants and is not a proactive imho (rather reactive) and is more prone to sacrifice. So she needs him to be her sword and love her unconditionally, and he needs someone to be able to tolerate all his intesive craziness and let him be him. I think a strong FL here would be his best friend, he would argue a lot with. 🤣🤣🤣

According to spoilers, do you have any theory about the ending of the drama, after the events from 17/18 ep.?

True, big production does not mean good script and better drama. However it does mean more money, popularity and sponsors. On the downside it usually also means toxic fans, work 24/7, losing your normal way of life, friends and private life and living in the bubble made of your management team and public opinion.
Many many actors chose this route because of the money ofc, and you can see how they change overtime. But then there are some that do not, or that try to keep balance or are more mature and are pretty grounded and realistic about the celebrity lifestyle.
However, these actors are never in top 10 or 20, are not traffic stars and usually are not invited to that Night this Night.
So I guess in the end it is up to the actor, what they want for themselves in the long run, how mature they are and how aware are they about the industry.
Tbh I always hope my favourite actor will stay normal, not too popular and will not be a slave of fans and money 🤣🤣

Oh she looks so beautiful and ellegant in the photos from that event. Her pose and dress - she's a lady. And that make up actually compliments her. I think that because she is really tiny and has overall small features she comes across as delicate so bold makeup and color do not suit her. On the contrary the other acress has something menacing in her features so she looks better in bold colors, makeup and dresses like the one she is wearing.
Yeah the black contrast on the photo is her and Li Fei 😄 I like that photo the most.

They are cute in both tbh. They have good chemistry and really come across as professionals. When it comes to their kisses, they are in second place of all his kisses so far.
Btw to me she is more pretty with less make up. The clothes and make up in this show ages her up a bit imho.

I think it is all about who you are and what is your backing rather than quality. Also as one Cdrama reviewer once said when more money and people is involved there is no such thing as a final version of the script as script gets changed on daily basis a
according to the wishes of the people that put money into it. Same as with the actors. We have wonderful actors stuck in the support roles and then we have some traffic stars, or actors with good backing and connections that are borderline bad actors but somehow always get lead roles.

Of course they could and should as the matter of fact. You are trying to sell star-crossed lovers, epic love and then we get cold wide-eyed dead fish kisses and actors that look like they are so uncomfortable or have no chemistry at all. That ruins it for me tbh.
There are also actors I like that do all their kissing secenes ok, but I always miss that passion spark from them. As YXS once told DYX in BTS when you kiss you should kiss for the camera. It has to look passionate on the screen.
In Li Fei's case he already knows how to kiss for the camera so he gives off that man passionately in love vibe that is needed.

I have seen the one where he lifts her easily in one hand. I was like man he strong, he does not even look like he was lifting anything, like she was a piece of paper. I hope he will always stay with that masculine strong energy and never become too skinny to please the audience or sponsors or directors khm khm.

I saw those clips too, like he was so animated, relaxed, making all those faces, he stole the show. I mean she is really cute but looked rather reserved a bit. But he was like all out on the charm looked relaxed, funny, and the period clothes/wig/make up just accentuates that charm. This is his first live that I have seen where he showed his funny side of personality. Whatever he was on during that live -I want it too 🤣

Well this is Cdrama - of course I was comparing to other Cdramas. Can you actually compare Lord of the Rings to xianxia or Legolas' style to any xianxia style. I don't think so. These are separate categories. 🙃
