Personally, I think 6 or 7 is way too low for this series. Many series in kisskh have ratings of more than 7, and even the mediocre ones can still end up with a 7-plus rating.

The series version does have some, relatively minor changes to the story. I feel that they are going to tame down the heavier themes of the original novel. The parents on the first glance, especially Pat's father, seemed to be not as scary and terrible as in the novel.
And they added in quite a bit of more romantic scenes too (like the ones you all would have seen in the ending, definitely that's just a fraction of what we'll see). But I think there'll still be a bit of heavy drama in the later part, though I am not expecting it to be as deep and tough as in the novel.
As some others said in their review of the novel, this is not just like any other BL story. It is a story of true love that blossomed amidst the real hardships and complications of familial and societal issues (some of which are how Pat and Pran's families ended up despising each other in the first place, and other expectations like marriage - won't spoil too much here).
The story showed quite a realistic challenge that a homosexual couple often face, and Pat, if you read the story, is always very confident in identifying himself as gay (and not that usual trope of 'I am not gay, I only like you').
It remains to be seen how much of the novel that the series will adapt. But as I said, I am very pleased with how the direction and screenwriting team (especially P'Aof) chose to turn it to what we see, even with just 1 episode so far).

For those who said that we focus on the actors and not the characters, I disagree. The characters are quite well presented here. If you want to know more about the characters' backstory - look up for the story (still available in Wattpad, won't share the link here). You'll agree with me that this series did well in bringing the story and character to life.
I should probably wait till Christmas to binge watch this...

I recommend reading the novel. It is a very good story and I really like it very much. Quite happy at times, and heavy in other times. Many people also find it different from the usual BL stories. More like true love story, and both Pat and Pran's characters there are amazing.
Although they may be some changes to the story/plot in the series version, I think they will still follow the novel. Don't read yet if you do not want to be spoiled though! :D
They changed alot from the novel, but I suspect it will still be a happy ending. GMMTV tends to go for HEAs

Without spoiling too much from the novel, it will get quite sweet very soon, and be warned, followed by quite a bit of heartbreak before a happy ending.
Maybe you try waiting for a while (I know you want to watch). Hopefully it will be working for you soon. Otherwise, try restart your computer? It may help.

They both have their strengths, and I hope in the upcoming episodes we'll see more of their great talents.

Very good novel and story, so I highly recommend reading it. The gang wars and fighting is just at the very start only.
