For LeoFiat and LeonPob fans, I think Ep 12 will end in a good way (just my observation). I honestly don't think it will end badly for either one.

It's just that you have to be patient to endure quite a bit of drama. Well, it's Don't Say No and MAME's work, isn't it?

Waiting for next Friday's Ep 12 - I wish it can be tomorrow instead...

(By the way, there will also be an additional special episode after ep 12 - looks like TharnType special episode style, so let's not think that next episode is the last one. I predict they'll end it all in a good way in the special episode.)

LeoFiat is ever my favourite couple among the two couples in this series, but one huge problem they have had since…
Additional Note:

King's actions were horrible, and so was Punn's (Leo's female junior).

They took advantage of all these, and did everything to break up their relationship and for their own most selfish desires (plus for King, it is even more win-win because he will also get to win the championship easily with Leo out of action)

But this is also an important life lesson.

If you really care about someone, you should not be afraid to tell the other even if it may make the other person uncomfortable. Communication is key to a healthy and lasting relationship.

If you pay attention to the lyrics in part 4, it makes sense (especially 'I am afraid you'll change if I tell you') - both Leo and Fiat are so afraid to lose each other, that their own actions led to all the drama in this episode.

LeoFiat is ever my favourite couple among the two couples in this series, but one huge problem they have had since TharnType Season 2 - communication. Leo keeps things to himself, thinking he can protect Fiat by himself that way, and so does Fiat. They didn't realise (and have not fully learnt yet) that this led to so many painful things before and after they became boyfriends.

Title Until We Meet Again Spoiler
Just a short post before my detailed review of UWMA (note that something similar might have been posted before):

Dean and Pharm, in my opinion, is not really the reincarnation of Korn and In. I am not a Buddhist, but I am familiar with Buddhist teachings and also regarding reincarnation, you do not have two souls dwelling in one person.

As the story implies towards the end, Pharm is still Pharm and Intouch is Intouch. And if you watch the finale, it is obvious that Intouch and Korn are distinct and separate from Pharm and Dean, and them moving on is actually more consistent with the fact that they are related to each other’s families - that their spirits found their way to each other, in a way, and able to find peace and resolution to their unrequited love, through Pharm and Dean.

It means that Dean and Pharm being related to the families of Korn and In (and the fact that they were born into the opposite families) are actually part of this reconciliation and forgiveness process, which the story has powerfully delivered us, especially towards the finale. And this allowed Korn and In to finally find happiness in the afterlife as they are, as Korn and In, and not Dean and Pharm.

(Note: I am a Christian, and I believe in life after death, and the souls retain their identity and memories after death)

So, in my opinion, this is not reincarnation, but rather, the journey of four souls in two bodies (two of them already died but couldn’t truly move on because of the lingering regret and sorrow), who happened by fate and destiny to meet each other, for In and Korn to find peace and to continue their love in the afterlife, while Pharm and Dean develop their own distinct love story in this world.

I know I am almost two years late in jumping into the UWMA bandwagon, but I had just completed watching every episodes, and I probably will upload my take on UWMA, which is indeed one of the best series I have ever watched.

Was holding back a long time because I know that this is quite heavy, and right from the first episode, there are quite a lot of heartbreaking moments.

And I like Leo's parents a lot. They are both just so accepting towards Fiat, and how they accepted readily and enthusiastically the love between Leo and Fiat.

Fiat's father himself is an interesting character, whose story has been made a lot clearer after this episode. It is easy to hate him early on, but after episode 9, you can see that while he did hurt Fiat by what he did, he truly did it out of love.

Very beautiful episode, I like LeoFiat scenes the most, and also the short LeonPhob scenes.

Regarding Fiat, his character and story has now been revealed to us. I have been following him and Leo since they first appeared in TharnType Season 2 (I completed both seasons plus bonus episodes of TharnType), and I am glad that Leo and Fiat had been given this opportunity to show more of their story after TharnType.

Fiat's whole actions all the way from how he tried to break up Type from Tharn, all can now be understood from the perspective of what his mother had indoctrinated in him earlier on, 'You must hate everyone, and you can only love me'. This has an effect in making him incredibly selfish in that regard, that only he could have Type, and he went all the length to try to separate him and Tharn.

Fiat's mum herself (while I initially hated her very much) was a kind of tragic character. Her mental condition, which became worse as time progressed, is something that is real in some people, and she may not have a choice in what she had done. This does not mean that I condone what she had done to Fiat, but that Fiat later on went to visit her mum in the mental hospital (I assume), shows how the whole tragic chapter in Fiat's life is finally (and hopefully) coming to a close.

Those who didn't like how Fiat spent a lot of time in distress and crying, maybe you should try to understand that having such a past trauma involving one's own mother, and how the one who supposed to love you the most and whom you love the most, could have done such a terrible thing, it is not easy for him, when all of that suddenly came back to him.

Fiat is indeed really fortunate to have met Leo, as without Leo, he would have totally been gone case. It was Leo who remained by his side no matter what, and taught him to accept himself as he is, and reconcile with his past and family. I appreciate how Don't Say No tried to weave in all of these, and overall the storyline is great. That birthday scene was superbly done, and I really want to tell Fiat, 'You are loved by so many people! Especially Leo!'

I also enjoy LeonPhob's story, and their development is quite good too, but overall, it's just that I still love LeoFiat's story and characters more (yes, with all of their flaws and imperfections).

Still halfway watching the episode, but I've been loving the story so far, especially for LeoFiat. This episode is beautiful so far.

Fiat's life had been tragic, but he is fortunate to have Leo by his side, to be his light in the darkness and to show him again what love means.

Rooting for #LeoFiat as always. I know quite a few people here prefer LeonPhob. I do like their interactions and relationship, but LeoFiat still comes out top for me.

Expecting more drama in the next episode. Can't wait for next Friday!!

Don't want to spoil too much, but Fiat's mom instantly became my all-time most hated BL (and other series) character.

If she proved to be the root of all evil... of all of Fiat's suffering, then you know what I mean (normally it is very hard for me to hate anyone, not the real world at least).

The actress was very good in portraying this, I almost couldn't stop myself slapping her through my computer screen.

EP 6 - 8 (in 2006 and 2007)

Phob gained enough courage because of Nut to be operated to remove his cancer-affected right arm. He was very torn in his decision to do that as he knew that he could no longer play the guitar and the music as he did before if he were to lose his right arm.

In addition, as a prolific artist, he would no longer be able to draw with his right arm gone as well. Yet, in the end, Phob decided to live on because of Nut, knowing that Nut will always be with him no matter what (quoted word by word from the last of Phob's flashdrive confession texts to Nut). He decided to live on because Nut is his happiness and he found back the joy of living because of him. If he had to choose between his arm and his life, he made the choice, and he chose life.

Why so? Although he could no longer play music the way he could, but it did not mean that his dream ended. Instead, he could still live the dream together (as promised with Nut), with Nut as his 'right arm' to complete the music together, as B1 and B2 forever, as boyfriends and couple forever.

Nut was distraught in EP 6 because he was worried about the outcome of Phob's operation, and at the same time, he also felt guilty of having misunderstood Phob's action in the earlier high school year. He hesitated to come and see Phob for the exact same reason why Phob could not find the courage to see Nut earlier.

But the whole family came together to support Nut (truly beautiful), from Phob's sister, Pat, to his own elder brother Note and Tar. They gave Nut the additional courage, for Nut to come and see Phob, and in the end, to fully embrace their love, without any more secrets or hesitations between them.

That is the ending, in the end, of two friends who met by chance, turned to best friends and developing love between them. Two inseparable souls separated by cancer and misunderstandings, who fought on for their love, and come together in the end, living for the sake of each other.

EP 4-5 (in 2006)

Phob came back to Prachuap and met Nut once again. He was hesitant to see Nut, as he himself was still not sure how to tell Nut about his condition. But likely, thanks to Kong, the class chairman, he had to courage to go up to Nut's house to look for him.

Nut, who was surprised to see Phob again after so many years, in his moment of disbelief and hurt, told Phob that he didn't know him, and this hurt both of them. Nut was still a bit angry that Phob left him without saying anything four years before.

It was there then that Kong (again, the saviour) called Nut and finally said something that Phob did not dare to say all those years, that he was suffering from cancer. That was when Nut's tough facade was all shattered, and he desperately went to seek Phob (so much that he was willing to go all the way to Bangkok - even if he might not know where Phob could have been, where he stayed and all).

That is the moment when Nut realised that he could no longer lose Phob, not a second time, and even risked it all to seek him out. When they were (thankfully) reunited again because Phob was in the van instead of the trains that left earlier in the day, both Phob and Nut took the opportunity to reveal both of their hidden feelings hidden for all those years. That culminated in the confession of love on that night and the kiss they shared.

No longer hiding their feelings, Phob and Nut both embraced their love together, and even with the cancer being there as a doom and gloom reminder of mortality, Phob and Nut showed us what true love is all about. Love that is genuine from the heart, one that is all giving and one about caring for the other significant person.

Each of them might have acted stupidly at times, but that is the reality of youth for us. We did things that we often regret later on, but Phob and Nut taught us how we should learn to let go of the past and look at what is important instead. To look forward and see what matters most, when the one we love is by our side.

EP 2-3 (2002 - 2003, ending in 2006)

Phob and Nut ended up in disagreement and separation, as Phob unfortunately got diagnosed with bone cancer on his right arm, and that shattered his dreams of becoming a musician. He already considered pursuing medicine with Nut (out of love), but the same cancer put it all to a halt.

Nut misunderstood Phob's refusal to take the medicine test with him, and was hurt because he thought that Phob went back on his words and promise to pursue their dreams together. However, at the same time, Phob was also torn as he could not reveal to Nut that he had a cancer, as he knew Nut very well and he knew that the news would have made Nut to be very sad and worry a lot.

But in not telling the truth, Phob inadvertently led to a rift between both him and Nut. This was temporarily settled at the moment when they were taking pictures for the Yearbook. However, what happened right after led to even more misunderstandings that separated them even more, until just before Phob was about to leave Prachuap to Bangkok for his cancer treatment.

Phob wanted to get treated as soon as possible. And in his still naive understanding of the situation at that time, he thought that everything could be settled quickly and he could return to Nut soon, to pursue their dreams together.

That was why he left Nut without saying a word, and this hurt Nut very badly. He could not contact Phob because he likely did not know where he was and how to contact him. Phob himself could not find the courage to tell Nut what happened, and it took four years before he mustered the courage to come back to Nut, just before he was slated to have an operation to cut his right arm and cure his cancer (by Dr Sarut).
(This was hinted in the first scenes of EP 1 when Pat told Phob that he still had a few more days to think about things)

Then, they were reunited again, four years later... in 2006, when Phob came back to Prachuap.

EP 1 (in 2002)

Phob and Nut, having been best friends for many years, began to enter into a new phase of their friendship, as Nut who have begun to develop feelings for Phob, was obviously heartbroken when he heard Phob saying that he prepared the song that Nut liked very much, for a girl named Jah.

Phob chose to play that song at the school fair, because he knew Nut liked it very much. In fact, he has also started developing feelings for Nut as well. However, unlike Nut, who showed his feelings more, Phob was still unsure, and clumsily tried to mask it by pretending that he wanted to do it for Jah. (As he confessed it later, he did it all for Nut, but could not find the courage to tell him until later.)

This led to misunderstanding between them. However, thanks to Note, both of them reconciled with that memorable song play at the phonebooth. It was there that Phob realised that he actually liked Nut, although he was unable to reveal it just yet.

The scene at the shaved ice booth tells it all, and their eyes cannot lie. When Nut wiped Phob's chin with his hands, it is obvious (especially on Nut's eyes), that they liked each other.

The beach scene and Phob's later confession how he kept those memories (and later drew them all out), shows how at that stage, Phob has already considered Nut as someone truly special to him. Vice versa for Nut as well.
