Why unpopular? We needed him for the super romantic YQ in the upgraded merged version! Also, if I am honest, the scene where he made her that fantastic umbrella (never seen such thing until now) is my fave scene with him. Like the iconic kiss trough the veil is the scene with Lamy that I won’t forget. And the scene when they run, with Mei Q , when he fell in love with her.
By the way, they always said it was the shards who had to fall in love with her, but there were moments when I thought, no, she had to fall in love with all three of them. What do you think?

It’s interesting how they film all scenes almost like randomly qua sequencing. In all drama I think. I interesting job, this acting. Doing your thing in front of a green screen , I wonder how does one get in the mojo of the feelings etc. Especially these fantasy dramas are probably just as much a surprise for the actors as they are for us when they are out 🙃
