I started watching this right after Feud too. Whew! My heart needed something comedic after that one. ADWAD is completely different but I’m enjoying it…Hope you like it too! If you watched TPOB, LYN looks like he stepped right out of that one and into this one. lol

Nan Rui is the most annoying character ever. I’m hoping he’ll have some special reveal because he’s a total buffoon and has shown nothing redeeming. Like he’s not even competent enough to be an antagonist…Like bro, how are you a prince?! No intelligence, no backbone, always on the coattails of his cousin or dad…should’ve just written CGH as the prince. Ugh…Nan Rui is equivalent to a fly buzzing around…just so annoyed whenever he’s on scene because he’s taking up so much precious scene time

I saw the scenes..but I need to know if i missed the reasoning….Why would NH kill the song family if he loves SYT in the original script?..like he killed her mom?!?! How does that make sense? That’s his unborn child’s grandma???

Me too. Debating if I should wait til all the episodes are out then binge. Waiting for answers is torture😭

Does anyone know if LYN will have anymore dramas coming out this year? It’s only July and his 3 dramas have come out already: Prisoner of Beauty, Eternal Brotherhood 2, and A Dream within A Dream). If not, that means the rest of the year will be a long wait😭

The amount of mind inception I’m going through right now is boggling…I’m watching Li Yi Tong play actress Song Xiao Yu, who is acting as Song Yi Meng, putting on an act for NH. Like what the actual F….lol. Li Yi Tong top tier acting at Song Xiao Yu terrible acting is *chef’s kiss*…like she should win both Razzie and Best actress at the same time because I don’t know what is what anymore🤣

It wasn’t bad. I forget which ep it was but it’s reminiscent of where SYM pointed all those arrows at herself and strapped herself with explosives..today’s episodes were kinda like that…just her being all out silly in her antics🤷🏻‍♀️

I enjoyed today’s episodes. Finally we get some SYM and NH moments. As much as I like LSL, I prefer Prince NH. My boy, NH, has been through a lot but he hasn’t ever been through SYM antics🤣 He’s shocked but seems to be egging her on too. Another iconic scene coming tomorrow!!! 😭 maybe the LSL reveal will happen!!!!

Wow, NH is so tragic. I understand the FL’s point of view and she does what she does…but I need her to reach a turning point soon because NH is just suffering for her and she’s still trying to cause him harm….usually I can bear it but at this point, it’s just non stop suffering for NH…like in a span of 2 episodes, he took an arrow to break off SYM’s engagement, took the lashing for HER dad just to have his dad punish him again for having the nerve to bleed like a human being…then he goes to see SYM (who’s supposedly on a hunger strike) and she’s stuffing her face full and planning to expose him, which might get him killed….I felt so sad for him and so annoyed with her.

I really was on SYM side up until this point. I really understand why she’s doing what she does (self preservation) but that doesn’t mean I like the way she’s going about it. She’s just so illogical and selfish sometimes that it makes it hard to root for her🤦🏻‍♀️ like despite being told her whole household would be executed for declining the imperial edict, she still was willing to sacrifice them and root for her dad to go break the engagement….. but like a few episodes ago, she was trying to save and help that southern town because she didn’t want them to needlessly suffer??? Like I want to ask SYM “are you trying to live in this world or not?! Are these real people to you or not? ”….if you’re going to preach about saving people in the “script” then you should stick to that principle..but it seems like she willing to do anything and sacrifice people, especially NH,to survive….if SYM considers them as “people” , shouldn’t all their lives matter? If you KNOW you’re the FL, Wouldn’t you be trying to help yourself AND them to break out from the script??? Obviously the ML is important so wouldn’t you be trying to get his help, especially since you know there is more to him??? Ugh

I’m This close 👌🏼 to rooting for the original script: overthrow NH dad, marry the sister, and the FL can go away.

The whole hand cutting punishment scene, I was yelling take the sword and stab him! Emperor is cruel for no reason. Like did he even find who the real culprits were?🤦🏻‍♀️

So after watching ep 32, although it was a HE, I was still sad. I waited a day and decided to watch it again and I feel a little better after doing some mental gymnastics. lol.

Kinda similar to the evil energy situation with Honglian and Li Mo. Honglian was finally able to find peace when she realized that the love she’d been seeking had to come from within her…so essentially, the only person who had the power to save her was always herself.

If I apply a similar theory to HRY…the point of the time travel plot was that the only person who could’ve save HRY (past and current) was herself….Even tho it didn’t change anything outside in her timeline, it did change something inside her…solace in knowing that her suffering is JUST hers and no other version of her will go through the same and comfort that somewhere else, she, BJS, and Shi’an are a complete family. After finally being able to move on from all the past grudges, her love for BJS (and help from time goddess) were able to bring him back, saving HRY from a lifetime of sadness and loneliness.

I think I’m finally able to move on…this is likely my last comment here.

I agree! I have so many questions tho.
Is the assumption that BJS doesn’t take her powers? Does he still go through 10 years punishment for her and they just reunite again after? Would’ve been nice to see Shi’an run up and call him dad😭

In the alternate universe where HRY, BJS, and Shi’an are happy, alternate me is probably also happy……..BUT current universe me is not completely😭

On another note, for HRY and BJS’s love to survive the death of their child…that is TRUE love…probably the truest love there is. Whew! I could not do it…..

Ahhh..maybe that’s what I missed. I assumed as long as they suffered enough and survived, they would ascend. I didn’t realize it was pass/fail😭 now Ling’er’s nirvana makes sense…still sucks for HRY and BjS tho

BJS is doing it way better. Her defensive walls are down and it took her no time to fall for it🤣

So after watching the spoiler…and we see Xiao Jing Shan again…is he connected to the war that happened 600 years ago??? Maybe that’s where he lost his entire family? Was BJS and HRY involved in that war? Is he the mastermind? Is he in cahoots with someone else??? Dammit…I need answers

Summing up ep 12: LQY reveals herself to be the real HRY and she has been pretending this ENTIRE time. Ling’er, who was her love rival, never had feelings for BJS and is actually HRY’s accomplice. Jingyun Sect are also her accomplices and in on the whole thing. HRY attempts to kill herself and BJS but something went wrong and they were transported to Songhe County. Songhe county is also the place HRY and BJS lived 400 years ago when they decided to go through a love tribulation in order to become higher immortals. In current Songhe, HRY sees a wedding procession happening and thinks back to her and BJS wedding. She realizes BJS is also alive when he calls her name behind her. She’s exhausted from the fight and faints. He takes her to a safe house to recover. He reveals he KNEW she was faking it the entire time but wants to make peace with her. Then there is a flash back to their life 400 years ago in Songhe. They’re in love, rich, and are living well in the mortal realm (not much of a tribulation). HRY is shown being very sympathetic towards mortals (especially children) and helps them…..

Not gonna lie, it gets more confusing as you go on…but in the next few episodes it shows 2 timelines: one of BJS and HRY in the past and one in the present…. a lot of things don’t make sense but just be patient and know everything will come together later
