Really hope that drama happens. JT has this way of making you feel for his character even if he’s the bad guy like in Legend of Dugu.

I’ve seen parts of it. He was in costume for some of it. I want to see him in full CEO mode. ☺️ I feel like he has the stature and acting chops for that kind of role.

If you see the preview, it’s really all SH’s guess which is kinda pushed by the fact that he doesn’t like ML’s relationship with FL. ZSA is very logical and already knows it’s a red herring.

Love Jeremy TSui in everything I’ve seen of his so far even when his FL doesn’t do as well. I want to see him in true/full modern RomCom. He’d fit the bill of a tsundre but loving CEO and would probably pull it off masterfully.

I’m curious with how far they deviated from the novel now. Please spoil.

OneHD and GMM always has this type of lakorn where the ML is the charming antagonist. Sometimes they’ll throw in a SML to be the support and potential open ended HEA for the FL.

It doesn’t have to be that he doesn’t commit murder, his character basically destroys the oldest and youngest and the middle sister, FL, only survives because she’s got a bit of a stronger will than the other two. He may not have committed murder but if he marries the older sister and impregnates the youngest, how can the middle sister forgive him and live HEA. So they would have to completely change the entire revenge story or make him twins where the one that fell in love with FL and has a HEA didn’t mess with the other two sisters. From the looks of the trailers and the character list, they haven’t changed much from the original.

That aunt is a piece of work. Doesn’t invite her sister’s family and has been telling everyone around her that she’s an only child 🤦🏻‍♀️ And then try to force a blind date at a large public gathering…she was asking to be embarrassed and brought it upon herself but blames everything on FL. That family dynamic is crazy. All from misunderstandings, judgement, past grudges, and pride.

For me, if he does everything like in the old version the I don’t want them to be together. The only way for them to end up together is if they completely change it.

If they change it to HEA, it should not be with the ML. He does too much damage to the sisters to deserve that. Becoming a monk is the best ending for him.

Did that Aunt seriously not invite her own sister and family to their father’s 80th birthday? I’m seeing that she’s the catalyst of part of the divide between the grandfather and Lin Xi’s family which adds to Lin Xi’s attitude towards them. And she’s supposed to be an elder 🤦🏻‍♀️ No wonder ShaSha is as sheltered as she is.

It’s really only the ones where they use that voice. It’s not just Esther Yu either. I can’t watch some of YangZi or Zhao Lusi dramas either. I can watch the ones where they don’t use childish voices though.
