On The Love Never Sets Nov 29, 2025
How this series has a 7.9 average is a bit baffling to me, but well... I guess people's tastes are different and that's why.
At this point, I am staying because I want to see how Saint and Ice rebuild their relationship and because Saint is indeed what his name describes, handsome and a green flag all the way. But the rest of the series is an utter mess...

This series was really cute and well made. However, the last ep left a bit to be desired... it felt rushed and I would have loved to see their life after they start dating.
I think we deserve a special episode lol.

Don't know if it will really be that way - him being so deep that he doesn't try to escape his "grip".…
Knowing You Shulang's personality, I think and hope that he will. In the opening credits of the series there is a scene when Shulang is about to hit Fan Xiao with a baseball bat and I though that it was likely the scene when he confronts him for what he's done. But let's wait and see! hehe
Fan Xiao is damn toxic, so if he wants redemption, he's gonna have to earn it the hard way.

"Portraying" and "romanticising" are two different terms, and I think people should read the dictionary to get that straight.
Also, there is something called critical thinking, with which you are allowed to watch a series to entertain yourself while condemning or not agreeing with the characters' actions or words.
So, yeah... pretty much.

To me, the series is very interesting so far. The dynamics between all the characters are very distinct and compelling. I am eager to know how everything is going to evolve when You Shulang finds out how his buddy Fan Xiao is in reality, although I feel like he is going to be in too deep by then. So let's see how they navigate the aftermath.

Why are some guys saying that intimate scene between charn jet was rushed.. hasn't it already been 7 episodes…
To be completely honest, I didn't see that one coming when I started yesterday's episode, but it did not feel rushed to me at all. As you said, they have had a crush on each other since the beginning (the bickering, the river scene, taking care of each other, etc.) and I mean, they are a couple of 20 year olds... it is perfectly natural that, when their feelings are exposed and cards laid on the table, both their instincts and desire would push them to continue after the first kiss, especially taking into account the setting (small room, middle of the night, hearts on their sleeves). Also, it felt like a mixture of willingness, awkwardness, lust, love... I don't know, you just could see their characters of Jet and Charn flowing naturally and shining with their own personalities.
To me, this scene was ideal <3

Thank god (or well, Buddha) that someone else is enjoying this drama! Reading previous comments, I thought everyone…
I don't think he is weak either... I guess people think that way because his demeanor is softer and he has a cute face (bless Namping, he is beautiful), but I think most of the time he has to be rescued because he cannot help that he is badly cursed lol. If he had the ability to "cure" himself, he would have done so and wouldn't have had to go to Pharan for aid... But I mean, if the woman was even able to interfere with the Master's powers, imagine how would it be for a common person like Khem.

This week’s episode gave us the holy trifecta: religion, ghosts, and thirst. Let’s start with the three dumb…
Thank god (or well, Buddha) that someone else is enjoying this drama! Reading previous comments, I thought everyone was just dissing for the sake of it...
Contrary to most, I really liked this episode! For the people who say there was no story in this, I saw plenty of it. The fact that the villain had the capacity to trap Paran when he was up to this point almost invincible, Charn became a disciple, Jet got his ghost vision back, Khem was allowed to stay in the temple, Paran "showed" (in a very sneaky way) more of his care for Khem... all of those add layers to the story and the characters themselves.
People don't want "boring" episodes, but they also complain when characters change their feelings very suddenly or when the story is being rushed. What do they want then?
I rather have this kind of calm (but not monotone) episode showcasing the subtleties of the story than having all episodes filled with action antics and no real progress.

I am dropping this, this drama. I wanted to give it a chance, but it is just too messy, plus the story and acting are not good enough to save it...

God bless the rain pouring down Pharan's sculptured body as he prays to ward those evil spirits away! ... I'm…
For real, I audibly gasped when that scene came on screen. Pure cinematic eye candy at its best!
I also love that fans of the drama in Thailand are making a "meme" on Tiktok out of Keng's beauty and "praying" to his character hahahaha videos keep appearing on my feed and it is hilarious.

Same here... but I mean, if everyone knows about what really happened, why is no one telling Mild? Or are they…
Yes, it seems like Knight has no blood in his veins... I mean, if you feel wronged, the most logic thing is to try to explain yourself in any way possible, especially in such a serious case :/

I completely agree. The whole issue was just brushed under the rug and left to rot there, like the braincells of the people who made this script, it seems lol.

The girls... don't get me started... I don't like when BLs make all the girls malicious on purpose :(
But I mean, this Tum guy is plainly stupid about his "girlfriend". Doesn't he see that she is just an opportunist who takes advantage of him? I'm on the best friend's team, rolling my eyes every time she appears on screen.

I left ep 5 thinking that Knight was not the perpetrator and that in ep 6 we would get the explanation we deserve, but this was a hell of a ride...
Even though I still believe he is not the SAer, his inability to explain himself, plus Mild's reluctance to hearing any explanation, plus the rest of the friends and family just talking about it lightly, being friendly with Knight and making it seem like nothing happened... WHAT is going on?

The way I see it, this ep could have gone this way (at least I was expecting something like this):
I would understand if Mild shut himself up and didn't want to listen to Knight or anyone due to reliving his trauma, then his best friends or the senior doctor could have confronted Knight and asked for an explanation. After hearing the logical explanation, everyone would understand and THEN and only then, they could have advised Mild to listen to Knight and find out the truth about that party.
(all of this taking the premise that Knight is not guilty of that horrible action)

But nope, they chose to do it in the most toxic and illogical way possible.

The award of the night goes to this random dude who appeard from thin air (is he Mild's cousin or sth?) and said that everything happens for a reason and that his bad experience surely had a good side. Like, is your brain rotten or something? Throw him to the lions!

I hope we get a proper explanation in the next ep, because this one for sure felt like a way of dragging out the story to fill in the time quota, and NOT in a healthy way.

Ok, I have now waited 55 minutes for an explanation, which was then only hinted at each time and immediately postponed…
Same here... but I mean, if everyone knows about what really happened, why is no one telling Mild? Or are they just accepting that Knight SAed Mild (this is what they are led to believe, not saying it is true in the end) and moving on? I don't get it at all :/
Also, why does Mild not want to hear an explanation? And why is Knight not stating his truth even if the other person doesn't want to hear it? I don't know, I feel like they are just prolonging this to fill in eps...

I totally get why everyone’s frustrated — eight episodes in, Tojo’s list is barely touched, still no kiss,…
I found the filler ep a bit boring too, but I agree with your take on its meaning for Keishi and his future prospects regarding Tojo-san. So far, he has been Tojo-san's support and has encouraged him to do things he didn't dare to previously, while silently crawling his way into his heart. However, now he may find the courage to go all in and state his feelings clearly to Tojo-san.

I think they toned and slowed it down with respect to the manga to make it more on the heart-warming side, so that the ending feels like coming full circle for the both of them. I am looking forward to the finale! :)

Title Memoir of Rati Spoiler
I am absolutely loving this show, but am I the only one feeling like the last two eps (9-10) were a bit strange?I…
In ep 9 I found it very weird that Rati and Thee suddenly started talking about "breaking up" and how they only had two months left together, when it was not stated previously that he was going to be away so soon. Also, I felt in that moment that Rati was very rational about it, like: I don't want to stay in Thailand and you don't want to come to France, so... let's enjoy ourselves for two months and then bye bye.
I don't know, I just felt it was too sudden and never in previous eps did they talk about this topic.
Another detail I found strange was that, being as discrete as they were before, they openly strode on the street arm in arm, fed each other, took photos together... it looked a bit odd in comparison with the prudent way they had carried themselves with so far. But well, I guess they maybe wanted to go all out to enjoy the rest of their time in each other's company.
Last thing, was I the only one not aware that the woman living with the man in a wheelchair was HIS MUM and Thee's dad's mistress? I am sorry, but they should have chosen an older actress at least... I kept thinking that the both of them were a married couple :/
That and Thee and Rati holding hands over the table while eating, but when the grandma asked Thee's dad if he didn't know about them, he was surprised? That was definitely a stretch.

About ep 10, my sensation as I kept watching was that we missed an ep in between 9 and 10. Thee having spies on him and doing all the marriage parafernalia again with Lady Pa, when she had said that she didn't want to marry him either. Why is none of them opposing the marriage?
Then, there is Dech and Mek. The last thing we knew was that Mek was beaten up by Dech's dad and his minions in Dech's presence, they had that very sad conversation and Mek left crying. And all of a sudden, both of them appear in Dech's living room talking to his grandfather about taking the translator exam. Where did that come from? When was that plan conceived? We didn't even get a reconciliation scene between them... so it just looked very strange to me.

I don't know, I really like this drama and so far the pace was amazing and I loved every interaction (literally kicking my feet at every TheeRati conversation), but these last two eps feel rushed, like they have to wrap up the story in time for ep 12 and suddenly they haven't got enough time.

On a scale of 1-10, how scary it is? Because I've seen DFF and I told myself I won't watch any other horror...
I think it is not super scary, it is mostly jumpscares and it looks very obvious when it is going to happen. I would encourage you to watch it and, when you feel that they are setting the tone for a scare, just cover your eyes and it will be over in like 10 seconds max.
The spirits themselves are not terrifying when they move or talk, just when they suddenly appear and, as I said, it is very obvious when one of those scenes is coming (mostly silence, a character is alone and looking relieved that there is nothing there, and then bam! Just your typical scene hahaha).

So, I would tell you not to miss all the other great aspects of this show just because of some scary seconds :)

(for the record, I cannot stand real horror films and gorey stuff hehe)

I love these series SO much so far! I hope everything stays consistent until the end, because up until now it is a masterpiece. The actors and the relationships between characters are great, and also the story of past karma and previous lives is truly compelling.
All the folklore and all the Buddhist rituals just make it even better!
Also, props to the CGI team in the last ep, because that creature was beautifully made (not saying anything else not to spoil anyone hehe).

Same here! I am not a fan of comedy in general, but Supanut just makes everything extra funny and he is serving in every ep, as expected :)
