Key takeaway: You can spoil yourself by reading the (original, but now altered to accommodate censorship) ending scenes DIRECTLY LIFTED OFF from the unaltered script here.
Because government censorship changed the ending (and probably a lot of other scenes with gay subtext) originally intended in the script, with the airing date having dragged on so long, a staff member ended up selling the ENTIRE script off online, which is now reportedly circulating on the web in China.

Btw, he also thinks this drama *might* air this spring, take it with a grain of salt though, anything could change hahahahah we're all familiar with that by now, aren't we? *cries*
I want people to discuss their thoughts on the ending scenes with me here :D I personally really liked how it deviated from the novel and was beautifully described.
WARNING: PLEASE DON'T OPEN UP THE SPOILER BELOW UNLESS YOU'VE WATCHED THE VIDEO AND READ THE SCRIPT (because they contain my thoughts on the original ending scene).
Like a shrivelled up eggplant in the baking hot desert. Sorry, I don't know why that came to mind when I read up to the "... now I am dying part β¦" XD
Hi guys..Can u recommend me some novels that u find it interesting..π» I'm struggling to find something interesting…
Check out compiled bl lists on novelupdates. :) Google mdzs novelupdates, and scroll down where you will find recommended novels.
Alternatively, you can check out the novel this drama is adapted from - an angsty but smutttyyy~ heavily loaded novel called 2ha or The Husky and His White Cat Shizun.
Priest's novels are renowned for intricate plots and world building, albeit romance isn't at the forefront of her novels, but still does play an important underlying role. *chef's kiss*
If you're in the mood for something niche to extend your stay in the world your favourite couple inhabits, archiveofourown.org is your go-to destination. Fiction written by fans, for fans, can be just as good if not better than some published web novels with repetitive overarching themes. Hint hint mdzs variety awaits abound (eg I'm current stuck on a 70+ chapters fanfiction reimagining the relationship between Luo binghe and Shen jiu/qing qiu from ground up, based on MXTX's first novel called Scum Villain.)
Wish you all the best, don't get lost navigating into dark waters, watch out for innocuous appearing crevices underneath your every step, bon voyage~ XD
*me in my first year of uni* .. 2ha la should be out by the time I'm 3rd year *me 3rd year,, finishing uni in…
lol might as well wait until you finish postgraduate ;) and every other milestones that follow afterwards; your first job, first promotion, first car and house, and before you know it a decade has passed. Congrats on getting to the end of your degree though! Woohoo! Hasn't been smooth sailing against the backdrop of events these past two years.
Haha the energy folks have here is amazing... Here's my two-cents, as someone a bit more tapped into Chinese culture…
AHHH you just reminded me of his 're-election' year in 2023 *pulls out my hair and groans* What a field trip we're having. XD Anyways I wanted to say what a concise and effective way to briefly explain CCP's role in all this! *thumbs up*
Another thing I wanted to applaud here, is the mindful use of terminology separating the government from its people - CCP instead of China. Often commenters forget in a moment of carelessness when venting their pent up feelings, that targeting "China" instead of "CCP" directly contributes to building a culture where Chinese *people* feel hated and discriminated against. I'm not from mainland China, but it's so important to recognise that there are many readers from there navigating this site as well, who deserve to feel safe on this site as everyone else does. So great job on that front too! I'm not putting on airs and I hope I don't sound patronising. Have a great day!:D *Smacks Ling ling insurance to the screen (any two set fans here?)*
You guys can call me a fool or in denial...but I am not losing it at all π, maybe I am immune already...haha1.…
It takes multiple clowns rallying around together, and meshing our awesome brain power to inspire a session of piss as* verbal vomit from me ;) Glad to have you guys onboard XD
You guys can call me a fool or in denial...but I am not losing it at all π, maybe I am immune already...haha1.…
Perseverance has a well defined goal, WE are the higher form of chaotic energy that emerged from a random tear in the timespace fabric of smelly hell, culminating in this fateful gathering of infinite clown power. *rainbow farts in the background*
As long as they keep filming, I'll remain hopeful that one day I'll see this. I just hope that when all is said…
Heaven forbid they cut out Huacheng's signature "gege" name calling. If the worst does come to fruition, it is with great faith that I firmly believe fan audio dramas would rise up to the moment and deliver us from suffering and lead us into paradise and enlightenment. *continues to spew rubbish while prostrating at a DIY altar (see kitchen table) holding meticulously placed hualian figures adorned with a wreath of pink roses (that are flickering on the screen of laptop)*
You guys can call me a fool or in denial...but I am not losing it at all π, maybe I am immune already...haha1.…
We have peaked and now fully embody the spirit of foolhardiness after enduring the trials and tribulations the drama god had tested us with. In acknowledgment of the great and noble character we have never failed to demonstrate, our clan was thus granted the honour of evolving into a new species - clowns. Our clan have flourished magnificently ever since. :D
We'd make our ancestors proud with level of blind commitment we have shown ourselves to be capable of. Truly admirable, worthy of being emulated by the rest of drama watching community.
*you slowly hear words drone out into the background, fading into muffled sounds of blah blah blah, as I continuously spew non-stop bullsh*t* ;P

Rationally, I know it's not respectful to laugh at 'new era' themed shows, but the way you randomly brought up inserting cute chibis out of nowhere... just the stark contrast made me giggle stupidly XDDDD
Most of the Eternal faith drama team of directors listed on mydramalist have already fled this production including…
"I'm trying to stabilise myself as I chant this out to you" HAHAHAH AND I'LL BE RIGHT THERE BESIDE YOU DOING THE SAME THING XDDD This made me laugh out loud.
