This show feels pretty little liars, CW, and ABC Family esque. It's a lot of fun with actually interesting twists and thriller aspects. It's shot really well an the majority of the acting is good too. If you want a short and sweet thriller that actually delivers, then give this one a shot.
I'm sorry but what was that ending???? It ends with everyone dying??? They confess and then the world ends??? Y'all we waited the whole show for them to get together and then a giant meteorite just comes out of nowhere and just destroys all the show has been working towards. I don't know what the point of that even was. I enjoyed the show, but that ending was trash.
The main couple is adorable, has great chemistry, and believable romance, but the writing is pretty bad. The first few eps are interesting albeit messy. But once I around around to ep 11, I just couldn't force myself to pay attention to any of the boring crimes that didn't make much sense. We don't really get curious about any of the cases because it just doesn't show much then it's a bunch of messy scenes of the cast trying to figure out the crime.
Just watch a "their story" edit on youtube and call it a day. The show is boring, the characters are boring, and it simply doesn't make sense.
Also I can't believe they got Bie to play in this. His acting is really good and he shines even more compared to the rest of the cast, but it kind of makes the bad acting stand out more because he's so good... welp that kind of backfired for them.
In ep 4 when he spun her around like that? Oh my goodness I've never seen such a thing in my years as a drama watcher lol. I rewatched the scene like 5 times and even showed my mom, that was hilariously random.
Even if the plot isn't that great, it's still a fun watch. There's hints for 3rd one at the end. I'm totally for this to become a franchise, the lore is so fun.
I couldn't even get passed the second ep. The ML isn't believable at all and instead I was just cringing the entire time. The acting is horrendously bad. The FL is pretty bad too.
Agree.. They should have let the two Erngs meet. The dynamic between the real Erng and Mew was also just so cute.…
I thought it was interesting to see how differently Mew interacted with the clone erng (more gentle or endearing) vs when he met the real erng it was just like their friendship when they were younger. I think both Erng's had different personalities and it would've been nice to see more of Mew's interactions with them.
What a wonderful article! I love seeing more in depth reviews of asian cinema. I feel like most articles on here are simply kdrama pieces, but this is so much more.
