I have zero clue what I just watched, but that was some chaotic fun. I love watching Hong Kong movies and they can be strange, but this is by far the strangest I've ever seen.
Watch it for some talented gymnastics, nonsensical plot, and extremely colorful fashion.
I just started and noticed that it focuses on sports...not sure if it is heavily on sports or does it get better…
I don't normally enjoy sports dramas, but this one is actually an easy watch. It's sports based, but it there's plenty to plot to keep you from getting bored.
Came in with low expectations, but was greatly surprised. This movie is legitimately really good. It has an original story, with some fun subverted expectations. The cinematography was really good too. The ghosts were well designed and lastly Tor's acting was superb.
Tried to complete watching it twice, but just couldn't make it through either time. The show would have been really good if it just took place on the island. All of the flashback scenes were genuinely interesting, but everything that takes place five years later is just boring.
The leads had amazing chemistry, but it didn't feel like love. Like they had great chemistry, but it didn't make sense as to why they liked each other and they acted awkward if it wasn't a kiss scene. idk it's normally the other way around, but somehow they were more awkward when they acted like an actual couple.
The first 7 eps are really good. I loved the realistic progress of their friendship/romance. I loved all of the little details, like their designated mugs and seats around the kotatsu (mugs are in the end scene too).
The last 3 eps just about ruined the show for me though... It was a genuine story with originality, slice of life, friendship, and romance. But the last 3 eps felt like a melodrama with a bunch of annoying misunderstandings and cliches.
So 8/10 for the first 7 eps. 6.5/10 for the last 3 eps. It's a good show, but fair warning. Have low expectations on the ending.
what do you mean dull and monotonous, every 10 minutes there was a fight scene or some character plotting to beat…
I agree. I think that the plot is pretty basic. The plot was only a 6/10 for me, but the acting is what got me hooked. The acting was solid all around, but Jihoon's performance was truly amazing. Like crazy good. I hope that with the upcoming second season, they add more soul and originality to it though.

Silent
Both are realistic and mature romances. Also japanese
