I saw this the page for it on viki, so I looked it up on mdl. I watched the trailer and was like "Ren?? From Nuest??" Throughout confused as to why this movie was made.

I found this cute, but the grandma clothes the FL and sfl wore were butt ugly and distracting. In 2000 no one…
Japanese fashion is a lot more boxy and oversize, especially for women. If anything the fashion is more modern than what it actually showed in 2010.

I think that the clothes are quite cute, but to each their own.

The first 6 eps are fun and original. I cared for the characters and felt the romance. But with the "twist," the plot completely fell apart, the characters started acting super immature and it was just a mess. The first 6 eps were a solid 8 for me, after that it's straight downhill where I skipped through the rest of the eps.

The first half was interesting, because it was a really unique vibe for a cdrama. It felt reminiscent of old cdramas from the early 2000s. The time skip and everything after that, it just starts to fall apart. They ran out of plot, so they throw in a secondary couple that takes up 10 min of an ep. The lead couple has great chemistry, but not enough to make me stay for all 24 eps with little plot. Dropping it on ep 14.

Should've just made it a mini series and taken out the whole illness plotline.

This is not a romance drama. It's about the importance of human relationships and how comfort, compassion, and companions can be so important. It's a show about love, but honestly the romance itself even feels more like a loving companionship.

This entire shows feels like an old jdramas from the 90's. It's has that same warm, slow, realistic, and genuine charm to it. It makes me think of long vacation and such.

This show is like a warm blanket with leads that feel like genuine people.

It'd be nice if the actually "allowed" the FL to be not thin. There's so many stories where they gain weight, fall in love, then lose all the weight and become "beautiful" again.

ngl the trailer looks pretty bad. The original webtoon is really dark and makes you feel unsettled the entire time. It was a slow dystopian psychological horror, but the trailer makes it look like an action thriller?

I beg y'all please read the webtoon before watching this series

I only watched the first one, but here's what I'm guessing.

FL goes on a blind date for her friend. She videos him, so that her friend can she how good he is so that she can date him. But the FL ends up falling in love with him instead.
