I feel like there isn't much plot, but with the little plot they have it's good. I enjoy the story, but the pacing…
The first two eps were the most fun because her second personality gave an added flavor to the story. But why did the couple get together in ep 6? It feels way too soon and I just lost interest in the couple.
I feel like there isn't much plot, but with the little plot they have it's good. I enjoy the story, but the pacing is really off. I'm dropping at ep 7 because I feel like I've watched 24 eps worth in just those 7. I'm getting bored and this should've been a miniseries or just spread the plot out more.
The intro was so artistic. It reminds me of the opening of bad kids. It looks like chalk drawings almost? And there is a lot of symbolism too. I love it.
What is Qing Li's sister business?? I don't understand or missed some points. Is that match-making or what?
Please mark your comment as a spoiler. So both the ML and his sister ran a "matchmaking" agency. But rather than it be both men and women send in applications, the agency steals personal information on different women and sells that to their male applicants. That's how the ML chose the FL as his wife and that's likely how he also started dating Momo.
I enjoy watching horror, mysteries, and crime shows, but I don't often get scared. The ML in this drama instilled such deep seeded fear. He made me so uncomfortable whenever he was on screen. It's got to be one of the best acting performances that I've seen in a long time. I've seen him in other shows and they way that he can control his body language to give off completely different vibes is crazy. In my lethal man, he was full of charisma and charm. In this he feels invisible/ gives off little presence, weak, unstable, yet so utterly terrifying...
Is it an actual thing for Korea and China to abuse people by having them drink a lot on business parties and such?…
There is a pretty toxic drinking culture there. That's a lot of newer companies don't allow for company dinners, but superiors often take advantage of power there, especially with alcohol.
This show has left a tear in my heart. Everything was so beautifully written. What does it mean to be human? Are we allowed to feel sadness, rage, or happiness? What gives us the right to do so?
This drama had some of the best most complex yet simple dialogue I've ever seen. The amount of care, thought, and wisdom in this series was amazing. If you want to gain a new perspective on life, then please watch this beautiful story unfold.
It was really good until ep 8. The mystery has some good layers and the slow burn was great, but I still guessed the plot and suspect early on. Would've loved to see more of Yu. Both the child version and adult version were both very compelling characters and talented.
This is a slight romance. It's areally interesting plot for the romance, with a high school backstory, but that was kind of thrown away. The story is focused on friendship, youth, and dreams. It's a cute show, but the romance was extremely lacking. Fumyia has amazing chemistry with every character, you can feel the love and desperation from him. Tsubasa...not so much. She typically plays the exact same character in every show, sometimes it works, this time it does not.
The show was good until ep 7 when it took a nosedive and the last episodes were utter nonsense with characters acting completely contrary to the rest of the story.
Ep 1-6 were a solid 8, minus the romance section. Ep 7-10 were a 6.
The best part about the movie is the directing. There isn't much plot, it's just 50% death scenes and 50% friendship. It's an oddly cute horror movie if you want something easy to watch. 7/10
Also Maeda looks as gorgeous as always so that's a plus.
The story feels like it'd play out better as an anime. It's a really interesting plot, but 50 min episodes where none of the actors really bring out the suspense aspect, makes a slow watch. I would've loved this as an anime, the only thing I really enjoyed about this was Ryusei because he is amazing as a subtle actor. Just watch his eyes and body language, the man is crazy talented even when the role is on the restrained side.
