This guy is born for period dramas! Even the director commented that Zheng Ye Cheng has the perfect size, built…
He was a gorgeous sidekick in Royal Nirvana and an equally gorgeous immortal in Love of Thousand Years but you’ll need to see whether the story and genre are up your alley or not. He likely became more popular after acting as a supporting member of Love 020.
Based on start of the first episode, it seems that the FL for some reason had to use up the 12 dreams and fall…
It does look like the ML and FL will go through an official separation for some reason coz I saw another “separation letter”. The princess that the ML has to marry will apparently become the FL’s benefactor so she feels bad about carrying on the relationship with the ML behind the princess’ back. The ML also learns that the FL is somehow the cause of his brother’s death on the night that they go through a second marriage ceremony. Gosh, so many moving parts!

Yeah that’s what I’m afraid of, that the drama will end with her falling into a deep sleep and he will just wait indefinitely for her to wake up! *cry*
Really liking the drama so far. The chemistry between the two leads is good and of course, Zheng Ye Cheng’s killer expressive eyes are on point once again. Based on the latest official ost mv, more trials and tribulations ahead but I’m hoping the two lovers will be happy in the end. http://weibointl.api.weibo.com/share/164081291.html?weibo_id=4534297891709921
Good grief. The drama started out well enough but I started to speed through from ep 30 onwards. Just couldn’t take the snail pace and flashbacks anymore! Finished the last 18 eps in two hours! LOL! What a pity. I really like Luo Yunxi’s acting but this drama was a slight letdown.
Rewatching this drama after a few years and it’s still so good. Ultra entertaining and the leads are just amazing. My husband turned around to call me mad coz I’m laughing so hard in the middle of an episode, in the dead of the night haha. Truly a gem. A must-watch!
Looks good! I’m really excited for this! Quite a number of the supporting cast are well known and will do a good job. Interesting to see Gala Zhang in a period drama- he doesn’t look too bad haha.
Awesome article! Agree with everything you said! I haven’t been this obsessed With a Kdrama for some time. How can a drama make you laugh hysterically one moment and then cry the next?
This drama has everything - a slice of life all of us can relate to even if we are not in the medical field, quirky and lovable characters, discusses serious topics in our lives (eg divorce, Affairs, organ donation etc) without being too heavy-handed, great cast - from the leads to the secondary roles, compelling stories in every episode, fabulous OST...I could go on and on!
I’ve watched the drama three times now and can’t seem to move on. Can’t wait for season 2! That said, I might kill the PDs if Ik Jun and Jung Wan end up all sad and lonely! Argh.
YES!!! Winter Garden!! Finally OMG. At least one thing to be happy about and to tide me through till the next season. Third time watching the entire drama. Just. Cannot. Put. It. Down. Arghhh!
Really enjoyed this drama and the chemistry between the leads. First time watching a drama with Eleanor Lee and wow, she’s funny and cute without getting on your nerves. The story is not complicated so it’s rather relaxing to watch. Hanche’s character is quite unlike the usual 霸总 (obnoxious CEO) depicted in Chinese dramas and Nuan Nuan’s can-do and positive attitude is really heart-warming.
