Decided to watch this drama after seeing comments from a few familiar faces on MDL. Glad I did! Binged watched 8 eps at one go and I’m really enjoying the story so far. The ML is major eye candy and not too bad an actor. He has a good chemistry with the FL and the supporting cast is cute too! Like everyone else, hoping for a good ending, or at the very least, a happy open ending haha.

Same. I just slept at 4am catching up with the latest eps and got up at 8am for work. LOL. I think I cried from ep 48-53 haha. SF’s love and dedication is so heart wrenching!
I loved this drama. Loved the leads and their amazing romance and chemistry. Lived and laughed with them. But I’ve just watched the ending and feel like killing myself for investing time and energy on this only to have such an ending. Whyyyyyyyyyy sighhhhhhhh.

Totally agree. I’m still watching this drama only coz ZYC fills up the screen with a halo whenever he comes on (to me Hahaha) and HYX is so cute to watch. Hope ZYC’s upcoming dramas will do better but he only has a support role in Twin Mirror Cities. I want him in more solid period dramas as a lead!

There were some clues here and there though I haven’t managed to piece it together coherently. I think SF let XJ confide her troubles to him and he protected and loved her in the heavenly realm. SF may have ben a royal Phoenix or some kind of higher ranking guard?? When she went berserk, he protected her and went with her to the mortal realm for her human trials.

Hahaha that too! He just fills the whole screen whenever it’s his air time and I just keep staring at his eyes and mouth. I think I did that with Ren Jialun in Under the Power too but the obsession is way stronger with ZYC. LOL

Oh my. I couldn’t say this any better myself. These were the exact three dramas that I watched with ZYC. His role got lost somewhere in An Oriental Odyssey. Loved him as Gu Feng En in Royal Nirvana but he didn’t have much air time towards the end and also became an angry character. Couldn’t get enough of him in Love of Thousand Years and cried myself silly at the ending. Please, for goodness sake, let him have a happy ending in this one!!
