This childish pouting Virgin routine is cultural. Seen it a dozen times. Think Hello Kitty and all the anime puppets…
The drama "Hidden Love" was a unique experience for me. The protagonist, Rosy, began her journey at the age of 14 and gradually matured into a 19-year-old woman, portraying the appropriate emotions for each stage of development. The 5-year age difference between Rosy and the male lead was believable, especially since their romance blossomed when she was a young adult. ML was a shy young boy and never looked like a pervert. It was a first love perfectly portrayed in my opinion.
I strongly believe that the portrayal of a one-dimensional child female lead paired with a mature man is highly inappropriate and disturbing. It's not just about the age gap, but also the difference in maturity levels between the two characters. The constant display of a childish, pouty face by some actresses throughout the drama is unacceptable and lacks the depth required to portray a credible character. I have seen this issue in several dramas, including Eternal Love of Dreams, but it is not limited to just one show. While I try to overlook it if the plot and other actors are good, I find myself having to bypass these dramas way too often. Frankly, I have zero tolerance for such depictions. I absolutely adore dramas with bold, sassy and independent female leads. They leave a lasting impression on me and always make for a memorable viewing experience.

I tried to watch this all the way through, but I'm dropping at episode 11. It's too goofy and disjointed, and…
This childish pouting Virgin routine is cultural. Seen it a dozen times. Think Hello Kitty and all the anime puppets sold in China. It feeds the teenager's propaganda need who must remain pure and innocent like a child. Personally I find it extremely annoying and ridiculous. I drop the drama very quickly and add the actress on my no-no list.

I am facing a roadblock at Episode 5 and finding it hard to continue. The character of FL is getting on my nerves as she keeps playing the role of a naive girl who is constantly abused. It seems like the scriptwriter has a thing for portraying women as foolish and dependent on men.

It's unacceptable that makeup artists can't reproduce identical scars, tattoos, blood stains or bumps, or even makeup from scene to scene. It's incredibly amateurish and frustrating to see, like the multiple pimples and red marks that were inconsistent when the character was abducted. This needs to be improved in dramas. I have seen it way too many times! No excuses.

I firmly believe that whether one likes or dislikes an age gap in a relationship is subjective and depends on one's own age and life experience, as well as physical attraction. In the specific case of this drama, Zhao Lusi's youthful and vivacious character with a high-pitched voice is paired with a mature and older male character, creating an alluring contrast. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama, but I understand that individual preferences may vary.

This college-period drama is hands down my absolute favorite. The three main characters are simply captivating and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The love story is both hilarious and endearing, and Ren Hao's portrayal of unrequited love hit me right in the feels. Overall, this series is a must-watch.

Rosy Zhao nailed the perfect script and flaunted her hilarious sassiness to the fullest. It's like comparing day and night when you compare it to the last new drama (the last immortal). The impact of a good script versus a bad script cannot be overstated. It's remarkable how much difference it can make!

This college period drama is absolutely fantastic and stands on its own. Ignore anyone who compares it to other college dramas because it has a unique plot and talented cast. Of course, there are villains in a college environment - that's what makes the drama so thrilling. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting show to watch.

This drama is specifically targeted towards young adults and teenagers. If you are looking for a dramatic plot, this may not be the right fit for you. However, if you are interested in a plot centered around first love and a delightful group of youths, then you are in the right place.

These immortals have lived thousands, if not, hundreds of years and yet they can see the truth unless you spell…
Inconsistencies are at every corner in every drama. Some screenwriters are just better than others. One keeps showing in my mind is the powder put on top of the clothes to heal a major wound or just a bandage. This gives me the giggle every single time lol

Poor Li Yun Rui (aka Hong Yi), the second drama when he try to make Zhao Lusi character fall in love with him🫠
This! I so wished they could be the main couple. I love their chemistry! With the right script, they would be incredible.

Disappointing. Childish play. Unpolished plot. Lack of chemistry with the main couple.
The only great things are the extraordinary costumes

I have mixed feelings about this show. The romance is too slow and the heroine not feeling love except the pain from her heart started to play on my nerves. I am at episode 15 and I need a break. I hope to come back though. My main issue is the main female actress. I just cannot connect. Something is missing for me. I fully agree that Luo Yun Xi is stealing the show.
