It's unacceptable that makeup artists can't reproduce identical scars, tattoos, blood stains or bumps, or even makeup from scene to scene. It's incredibly amateurish and frustrating to see, like the multiple pimples and red marks that were inconsistent when the character was abducted. This needs to be improved in dramas. I have seen it way too many times! No excuses.
I firmly believe that whether one likes or dislikes an age gap in a relationship is subjective and depends on one's own age and life experience, as well as physical attraction. In the specific case of this drama, Zhao Lusi's youthful and vivacious character with a high-pitched voice is paired with a mature and older male character, creating an alluring contrast. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed watching this drama, but I understand that individual preferences may vary.
This college-period drama is hands down my absolute favorite. The three main characters are simply captivating and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. The love story is both hilarious and endearing, and Ren Hao's portrayal of unrequited love hit me right in the feels. Overall, this series is a must-watch.
Rosy Zhao nailed the perfect script and flaunted her hilarious sassiness to the fullest. It's like comparing day and night when you compare it to the last new drama (the last immortal). The impact of a good script versus a bad script cannot be overstated. It's remarkable how much difference it can make!
This college period drama is absolutely fantastic and stands on its own. Ignore anyone who compares it to other college dramas because it has a unique plot and talented cast. Of course, there are villains in a college environment - that's what makes the drama so thrilling. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting show to watch.
This drama is specifically targeted towards young adults and teenagers. If you are looking for a dramatic plot, this may not be the right fit for you. However, if you are interested in a plot centered around first love and a delightful group of youths, then you are in the right place.
These immortals have lived thousands, if not, hundreds of years and yet they can see the truth unless you spell…
Inconsistencies are at every corner in every drama. Some screenwriters are just better than others. One keeps showing in my mind is the powder put on top of the clothes to heal a major wound or just a bandage. This gives me the giggle every single time lol
Definitely not like eternal love like many say. Complete different story!!! Yes they are immortals. Yes there is a love story. Yes there are villains. Period Don't be fool to listen to that!
I have mixed feelings about this show. The romance is too slow and the heroine not feeling love except the pain from her heart started to play on my nerves. I am at episode 15 and I need a break. I hope to come back though. My main issue is the main female actress. I just cannot connect. Something is missing for me. I fully agree that Luo Yun Xi is stealing the show.
Probably don't need to say this, but only watch it if you're prepared for the leads to have like 5% of happy time…
Agreed. I prefer more equality between love and plot. The constant angst between the main couple is more than annoying. I want to skip it. It sounds very childish I didn’t engage with Yang zi at all. I find her annoying and physically not fit for the play.

The only great things are the extraordinary costumes
