Warning: 8&9, in my opinion is slow. Still fights but a lot of dialogue. But after 8&9, we've passed the anime storyline! LET'GO!!!

Hahaa no, not just you. I'm literally rewatching Ep 2 rn and now I am also studying his eyebrows. 🤨🤨🤨 😅 Now I can't unsee it. 😂

He gets better after Ep 1. I think Ep 1 was all about setting the scene and establishing him as a calm, reserved, conflicted self and because there were so many fighting scenes in the first episode we don't see much of him. But from Ep 2 onward especially the fighting scene with the white, creepy coffin guy, his "cocky" "you're not worth my time" expressions come out.

Also certain characters/plot bring out a wider range of emotions after episode 2.

YES. So satisfying. What about the part when he fights the creepy white coffin guy in Ep 2 at 40:00? The music is so good during that scene!!!!

^_^ I'm glad. I don't say it to keep people hopeful but it really does get better. The story picks up, fast w/o you second-guessing the plot. I recommend watching the episode and then watching it a second time to actually follow the dialogue and rewatch the fight scenes. I missed a lot the first run and then appreciate the fight scenes more the second time around.

Finished all 7 episodes. It's 12:47 AM. Glad I have PTO....🫩🫩. But it has been worth it staying up. It gets better and better...and better and better. It isn't until later episodes that you see SMY character shine. I can't wait to see SMY and SCH relationship is tested.

Still good. The pacing has slowed down but not boring or skippable. I do love the pacing a lot. But I can't wait to get pass all the anime parts so it is unpredictable.

Disclaimer: haven't seen the other installments so I really have no clue what will happen w Dark River or who end ups leading it.

Oh sorry. I watched the OST MV & GJ has a lot of expressions but it looks like it won't happen until a little later in the episodes. Was just commenting how he has range given the right scenes.
