That’s ok .. I cheated and watched raw episodes using google translate so only focus on the interesting bits. ML lost his memory when he jumped off the cliff with the FL. He regains his memory of his love for FL in episode 20 and gradually regains rest of his memory by episode 23.

Waiting for Eng sub of Qing Luo is torture. So watching Maid Escort as filler. Not as good as Qing Luo but still fun drama.

Present.they jumped bescsuse trapped by baddies and that’s when ML wakes up with amnesia.

Yes ML is Nanan’s father. ML & FL were drugged and spent the night. ML doesn’t remember. It was a setup by the FL husband who tried to kill her which caused her to lose her memory. I watched raw episodes up to 22 (ML still doesn’t know he is the father) on Dubuko using google translation because the wait for Eng sub is killing me. Really enjoying this drama. Great acting especially by ML and appreciate a FL who is intelligent.

As of episode 16 he still doesn’t know he is the biological father but the FL regained her memory and knows the ML is biological

Yes very happy ending

Finally finished watching this drama. It’s a super happy ending. They have 2 adorable kids. Hong Luan returns so happy ending for her and Weng Gu. This drama did drag for me. Started of really well and could have ended in 1 season. Become repetitive but love the chemistry between leads and just relieved they got their happily ever after. Next addictive drama is Qing Luo. Chemistry between main couple is great and it’s hilarious. Helps when the ML is total eye candy.

Season 2 is now airing on IQIYI. 2 episodes with 6 extra episodes for vip.

Yes there has to be a season 2 that likely has already been filmed as someone posted a second trailer (copied link below) that had quite a few scenes not yet aired. One of which looked like main couple getting married. Drama was probably filmed more than 32 episodes but split into 2.

I’m actually enjoying this drama. By no means perfect and some parts dragged a bit with the typical tropes but the chemistry between main couple is off the charts. Love their bickering and teasing but can put aside their differences when working together. ML is not cold but more reserved and serious while FL is free spirited and can kick arse ...yes! Drama has me invested in main couple’s relationship and curious about their past lives. Side relationships and characters are interesting. Love the FL’s over protective brother who thinks he’s acting in her best interest but is totally clueless yet will always defend and make excuses for FL. Started off liking Wengu but hating his now crazy possessive attitude towards FL. That trope gets old and frustrating. CGI is exceptional. Praying for happy ending!

I was not expecting to enjoy this drama but it’s so good! Light hearted, feel good drama with no unnecessary angst so far (up to episode 6). Interesting plot, great chemistry between main couple and the ML character is hilarious. So narcissistic yet lovable. Actor did a great job for a newbie. FL could be a little more intelligent (nothing overly annoying though) but that’s c dramas for you. Seriously can’t wait for next episodes.

Thank you so much for the link. I’m actually enjoying this drama despite the weird format and choppy editing. Lighted hearted and interesting plot, strong intelligent FL (who can also fight) as well as great chemistry between main couple. Such a shame they went down this path and not made it into a movie like others commented or longer episodes.

Couldn’t wait so watched up to episode 30 raw on Duboku and from what I can gather it seems FL is poisoned and Shi Fei Xan has the antidote who blackmail ML into ending their engagement etc. which he is willing to do to save FL. Can someone confirm or correct me? Why do I have this feeling FL will lose her memory or some of her memory of ML when she wakes up because it wouldn’t be a C drama without some form of memory loss :-) there are clips in the teasers where FL is on friendly terms with Shi Jin which I can only assume it’s because she doesn’t remember her relationship with ML.

I feel your frustration. Last 10 episodes I skipped so many scenes just to see how it ends and have yet to go back watching it properly. No c drama is perfect but come on there needs to character development. I can handle the plot holes, poor editing, lame villains, annoying princess but I am watching for the romance between otp which is lacking when you feel the FL actions make her not worthy of ML love and devotion. FL makes the same mistakes over and over again. It’s even more obvious when her sister is so much more sensible and intelligent.

She gets poisoned while blocking a poisonous dart for the young prince that she likes. Keeps him company for the night then disappears to who knows where. It is assumed she eventually died from the poison. Little disappointing. I want to see evil doers get what they deserve but these c dramas so lenient on criminals and merciless on the innocent.

At episode 36 with only 4 episodes left and still more serious misunderstandings between otp. FL still believe ML would do such terrible acts like having Ruyi Pavillion burnt down. She refuses to believe her master was involved in criminal activities despite evidence because she claims to know her master well yet after everything ML had done for her she suspects him at the blink of an eye. Not an FL I can root for. Cuteness and naivety can only go so far. Her sister is a better FL certainly more rational and smart. The otp relationship just goes round in circles and they keep repeating the same mistakes. Why can’t writers have the otp working together to outwit the villains rather than the contestant misunderstandings and needless self sacrifices. I prefer watching the relationship between Little Marquis and Fu Xuan. The gradual development of their relationship has been enjoyable to watch.
I don’t understand why FL felt she should be buried along with the ML. Yes she was devastated but why not live to seek justice? She knew Duke An was evil by then yet nothing done about it.
Editing in last 10 episodes were choppy. I lost track of what was happening on a number of occasions and what was with the lightening reviving FL from death?

Finally watched scene where Little Marquis and Fu Xuan kiss and for me there was more feeling in that kiss than any of the kisses between the otp. Otp are cute together but they seem to lack the passion. Although happy ending for all wish there had been a wedding scene for Little Marquis.
