You’re wiser than me haha although I’m not a fan of dramas with cheating tropes and/or closeted partners this one has me hooked and no matter how many times I say I’m dropping it I keep tuning in each time a new ep is released. 😅

I’m not talking about their relationship from a sexual point of view though. And you’re right, people in poly relationships usually have their own understanding of their role and whatnot, but I feel like in this case they started out on the wrong foot and they way she found out about them is unfair to her because Yuki did cheat on her, there’s no way to dress that up. So while she is doing something selfless because she loves him, I do feel like it’ll come back and bite her in the butt because she might realise that loving him isn’t enough to keep their relationship the way it is. I do hope I’m wrong and that it somehow works out between them but relationships that start out with a cheating partner rarely do.
wait I'm so confused is she actually letting her husband's lover live with them for her husband's convenience???…
and I know he also confessed to her that he likes her as well while living with them but how am I supposed to believe that he's being genuine when he knew yuki was married and still asked him to date him I'm so conflicted T_T
wait I'm so confused is she actually letting her husband's lover live with them for her husband's convenience??? I'm actually speechless right now also how is this supposed to transition into a polyamorous relationship when it's clear her husband and his lover only love each other?? it feels unequal somehow like she's the other woman in this case
Only 2 eps are out and the tension between them is already crazy. Although I am a bit confused at that opening scene but maybe it's a flash forward?
Also Jihyun works quick lmao he became aware of the feelings (?) between him and Jaewon very quickly and straight away made sure to put himself in jaewon's line of sight by joining the same club as him. So far very organic progression, but just based off the synopsis here I only hope that they don't try and make it into this trope where the ml's kiss and then one of them turns into a dickhead and starts hurting the other because he doesn't want to own up to his own feelings. I don't expect it to be smooth sailing but at the very least they should try and avoid that.
Not YTJ being furstrated that his crush JWY doesn't recognise his feelings like this man was under the impression that he was straight before he went on this holiday so give him a lil time to come to terms with it. He's deffo also attracted to him but he's in denial for now, also it doesn't help that he keeps putting YTJ into his own heternormative scenarios lmao
He is way famous than just doing bl his lakorn works are hit too so nope he definitely doesn't need bl to be famous…
He’s made problematic comments in the past along with other love by chance cast members and he also said that he views the bl industry as a stepping stone into the ‘real’ acting industry.
Really not a fan of the whole cheating plot (if the tags are right) but Furukawa Yuki has been one of my faves for years now (and I’m currently watching Jack o Frost) so I’ll deffo be tuning in. I just hate seeing the wife being made into a fool in these types of tropes it feels lowkey misogynistic imo

I don’t give a flying shit how many lakorns he’s been in my issue is him willingly taking queer roles while being homophobic, if you don’t see an issue with that then that’s YOUR problem 🤨
Lollll I thought Perth was just looking for an easy way to get famous by doing BL shows I guess that hasn’t…
Also chimon??? I hope he knows we haven’t forgotten him having a silly little chuckle at a r*pe joke. When will directors stop casting problematic actors in queer roles ffs??
Lollll I thought Perth was just looking for an easy way to get famous by doing BL shows I guess that hasn’t worked out well for him has it 🤣 irony really is a b*tch
The cinematography in this show isn't something amazing or life-changing but somehow the acting makes me feel like it is. Their chemistry is just so damn good; the longing looks they give each other when they think the other isn't watching, the tension between them is so palpable that I feel awkward being in their space even as a spectator I feel like I'm intruding on their moments. This plotline has been done many times before, so it's hard for it to feel original but this drama feels it. Three more episodes until the end, I really hope they don't leave the conflict resolution till the last episode.
I really like it so far! Hopefully it wont have a messy love triangle. And I feel sorry for the Queen. For once…
I’m not so sure about that tbh I actually think she might be the mastermind behind some of the schemes and is putting up a front so no one would suspect her. She definitely has a motive; her son.
I know everyone has differing opinions on this show and the pace but honestly for me it’s been a very promising start to a saeguk and I know this concept has been done before but I’m finding the FL to be so empowering and strong, like sadly that’s something we can’t really say we’ve seen a lot of in saeguks.
She’s so cool to watch in action, and it also adds to her character the fact that she told the ML off for being a whiny little brat who actually had the nerve to tell her that he loved his bro and would never kill him and then told her she was lying when she’s literally in the same situation as him lmao??? Anyways she put him in his place quick and I loved that for her.
Also, the people talking about looks and all that bs are such hypocrites like you’re the ones who are always preaching about how skorea has unrealistic beauty standards yet are the first to start whining when a celeb’s appearance changes even slightly. Just say you’re being performative and go lmao.
