So many exciting things happened in episodes 5 and 6... Pasin's back and Jian kicked Jeongmin's butt so hard, I'm so so proud of her, I hope she continues training with him and Minhye, I think they can make her even more badass.
Episode 6 was solely dedicated to Jin Man's past and actually explains his beef with Jeongmin's benefactors (now we know as Babylon who Jinman actually used to work under) pretty well. The guy who murdered Jian's parents, and cut off the hand of the dude who tried to save her when she was younger is revealed to be Jinman's own (past) subordinate, Bale.
I mean i know the show is about a bunch of assassins and mercenaries, but this guy (bale) is so sick and twisted he would put Ted Bundy to shame. He literally just kills everyone he sees, whether they're his target or not and then he chops them up for good measure. Jinman thought he got rid of him, but he should've slit his throat just to make sure, now he's alive and trying to kill Jian, thanks a lot Jinman!!!!!
After episode 4, I struggle to see how the writer will make it so that the ML and the FML will fall in love. After that betrayal, I don't really think I want them to fall in love, albeit he doesn't know the 'guy' he considered his friend and then cruelly betrayed him is actually the daughter of his beloved teacher who basically sacrificed himself for him.
So it'll be interesting to see what he does or how how he changes (if that even happens) when he does find out. At this rate it won't just be Hee Soo seeking revenge, the war minister's son also has enough motive to get rid of the king after he slaughtered his father right in front of him, so I'm keen to see how that will play out and whether they'll join forces in their revenge.
Park Jibin has never played a character that wasn't nasty, I KNEW from the moment he appeared on this show that he'd be the mastermind, he just has that cute baby face where you know there's some dark shit happening behind those eyes lol
Hmmm I can definitely see their point. But some media should be rightfully ‘censored’ as it’s clear that it’s crossing some lines and it glorifies/romanticises certain topics. If they like Japanese shows because they romanticise student teacher relationships, then that’s really fucked up and should not be supported. People can like what they want, but don’t try and justify shows that romanticise illegal shit.
till now, they've released a grand total of 1 or maybe 2 decent/good dramas. nothing to write home about them.
I politely disagree… but then again a lot of the shows I enjoy on there aren’t Korean, so maybe not a lot of great kdramas, but certainly a good selection of them are!
Is it only me that see the resemblance between little Ji an and adult ji an looks so much alike
No you're completely right! They did an excellent job with the casting, definitely makes the show better and more believable if they resemble each other
Damn what is it with disney+ and releasing these fire kdramas lately?? Since I'm boycotting and have cancelled my subscription with them, I guess this show will just have to be watched illegally lol
Ep 14… we’re really not getting any emotional reprieve are we 😭
Like everyone else already said, I’m certain JW will break up with ME, I don’t see their breakup being permanent though. And at this rate I’m also pretty confident that she won’t sleep with the SML either, and if it does happen it’ll likely be after her and JW ‘break up’.
Also am I missing something or did his ex and the guy accused of being her stalker actually cheat together?? Like back in their uni days?? Cause I deffo feel sexual tension there as if there’s some more history than what they’re telling us.
Anyways, I just want Jinwoo to be happy and I hope that once he meets his birth mum he can at least overcome a deep scar from his past. At this rate, I don’t really care if him and ME get back together, I just don’t want them to resent each other and have this relationship also become a scar for them to have to overcome in their future. If they do breakup for good, I want it to be on good terms!
Moeun can do no wrong in my eyes, she has always been the one doing the chasing and the one putting herself out there. I don't think it's outlandish for her to wish for him to do the same for her. Especially now with the whole working with ex part, like did he just expect her to be ok with it?? She's human and even though she's very in love with him, sometimes that isn't enough to keep a relationship afloat, especially when she's been the only one telling him how she feels.
Her guy friend also needs to back up a little, even as a viewer I felt uncomfortable with how he tries to get closer and closer to her even though he knows that she's in love with someone else. There's nothing wrong with comforting her when she's going through a hard time, that's what friends are for! But he needs to start drawing some boundaries, and maybe the fact that they slept together in the Japanese version factors into why I feel this way. But if you see how deeply she loves another guy, do you honestly think she'll start to have feelings for you even though she hasn't in all the years you've known her??
Towards the end of ep 13, I felt like they were setting them up for the whole cheating plotline, because she was vulnerable and he looked like he wanted to pounce on her, and I've never been so glad to see an episode end without any action lmaooo
Yes. In the past she was a princess. In the current she is the daughter of the congresswoman. In the past the…
I love the symbolism of that, it shows that their bond was so strong in their previous life that they re-incarnated into a mother and daughter in their next life.
It was his grandfather who murdered his mother, not his stepmother.
I don’t think this is far fetched at all!! It seems like he’s trying to use taeha to keep his daughter in law (taeha’s stepmum) under control. He doesn’t want her to get too powerful thus he’s manipulating his grandson under the guise of ‘support’ so he can keep her on a leash.
Don't tell me hate watching isn't healthy ... its my favorite past time :) It gets even better when you have a…
Yes my people! And to be fair it’s not like I started this show out of spite, it was a genuinely good show it just became insufferable over time and I stuck around to watch the garbage fire its become 🤣
