He then goes on to tell her (take this with a pinch of salt, because again, I’m not fluent I’ve just consumed a lot of Korean cinema) that he thinks about her, I don’t think he confessed to her but tells her something that makes her flustered, so I assumed it was something heartwarming and intimate. The epilogue ends with him telling her to keep herself safe while everything’s happening (basically to take care of herself).

Wow things are moving quick in ep 11! So happy she finally knows her vile father in law is responsible for her brother's death, I was getting tired of seeing her being the filial daughter in law to the very man who killed her brother. Maybe now she can actually rid herself of this cursed family without feeling any guilt!

Yep! I thought the same, her tactic served as a warning that they're nothing to her if she was able to kill such a feared assassin, they're basically pigs for slaughter to her, as well as an offer to them that her deal actually favours them more and they'd get more out of her being alive than dead. I really do think she gained a lot of people's respect in that little demo, the way some of them were leaving looking like they were proud of her haha

I knew they weren't going to wrap everything up in a season, cause the way there were 2 eps left last week and they spent a whole episode based on Jinman's past (eps 5&6). I knew from that moment onwards, they were going to leave some things unfinished so that it'd be extended to a second season. And I'm SO happy I was right, this was an incredible show hands down and I need more, 8 episodes are not enough. It could be a 40 episode drama (very chinese show-esque) just about Jian being a baddie, and I'd lap that shit up like it's food lmao.

The way she mercilessly killed that insufferable prick Lee Seungjo was so satisfying, like she really let him get a little taste of hell and then once he thought he was safe, she gave him the most nasty headshot I've ever witnessed. And to put the cherry on the cake, she chopped off his ugly ass head and used it as a warning for everyone else who was trying to get to her.... ugh I love her beyond words. Seungjo, rest in piss you vile rat!!!!!!!!!! And Bale, you're next (if Jinman hadn't already killed you while he was on his little side quest)!!!!!!!

Just finished A Shop For Killers so I'm hungry for more action/thriller shows, and I'm sooo ready for Woo Shik serial killer era (he ate downnn in the witch movie)... 2024 is starting with a bang I love it

Firstly, she shot him in the forehead not in the chest (you can see the bullet hole at minute 37:58). And she used the axe she got from the wall and chopped off his head with it (this was obviously done off cam because it'd be too brutal to show onscreen and it's a bit hard for them to CGI it because of the mess that it would make from all the blood).

And to answer your second question, she probably acted on pure adrenaline, keep in mind that both Pasin and Jinman trained her (fighting + shooting guns) so that made her stronger, both physically and mentally, she was likely able to overcome her trauma from when she was young due to that. And keep in mind that Seungjo is the one who killed her parents, and thus the writer made it so that he is the first person she's ever killed (intentionally), which I personally think is poetic justice!

Yes, he did say to Pasin that his debt’s cleared, I wonder if that means that he stole money from him too, along with those other residents he stole from and then ran away…

Struggling to see how they’ll fit everything into the two remaining episodes but I’m staying hopeful, the show’s been pretty excellent so far so I really hope it doesn’t fizzle out towards the end, I’d rather they go out on a high note than dragging it to a second season but we’ll see…

Yeah I’m doubtful too, just something about his demeanour when he rescued Jian that I find sus otherwise I don’t actually think he’d ever align himself back with them after everything Jinman did for him… I hope they explain his disappearance in the coming eps, otherwise I’m thinking they’re going to build up the ending for a second season. 🤔

I saw a theory that said Pasin might also be working for babylon because they might have his son hostage since he stated earlier on in the series that he'd do anything for him... really hoping it's not true because I've really grown to love him.

So far (episode 6), he's only shown up in flashbacks. Although, I am still holding out and hoping that he faked his death....

So many exciting things happened in episodes 5 and 6... Pasin's back and Jian kicked Jeongmin's butt so hard, I'm so so proud of her, I hope she continues training with him and Minhye, I think they can make her even more badass.

Episode 6 was solely dedicated to Jin Man's past and actually explains his beef with Jeongmin's benefactors (now we know as Babylon who Jinman actually used to work under) pretty well. The guy who murdered Jian's parents, and cut off the hand of the dude who tried to save her when she was younger is revealed to be Jinman's own (past) subordinate, Bale.

I mean i know the show is about a bunch of assassins and mercenaries, but this guy (bale) is so sick and twisted he would put Ted Bundy to shame. He literally just kills everyone he sees, whether they're his target or not and then he chops them up for good measure. Jinman thought he got rid of him, but he should've slit his throat just to make sure, now he's alive and trying to kill Jian, thanks a lot Jinman!!!!!

After episode 4, I struggle to see how the writer will make it so that the ML and the FML will fall in love. After that betrayal, I don't really think I want them to fall in love, albeit he doesn't know the 'guy' he considered his friend and then cruelly betrayed him is actually the daughter of his beloved teacher who basically sacrificed himself for him.

So it'll be interesting to see what he does or how how he changes (if that even happens) when he does find out. At this rate it won't just be Hee Soo seeking revenge, the war minister's son also has enough motive to get rid of the king after he slaughtered his father right in front of him, so I'm keen to see how that will play out and whether they'll join forces in their revenge.
