"although cheating is the absolute worse you can do to your partner..."
That is directly what you said, so yes you did just say that cheating is worse than the heavy drinking and drugs that Ray is getting Mew to do, which again can actually kill someone.
If you think Top is the most "red flag" character out of all of them then you seriously need to do some self reflection.…
I definitely agree that they left some wiggle room for them to sort it out. Mew knew right from that start that Top used to sleep around, etc. and Top even told him that he wanted to become a better person for Mew. People don't change overnight, so yeah while what Top did hurt Mew, a single slip up in a long process isn't unheard of, especially when going into something that's so new to you.
At this point Boston has kicked Nick so deep in the gutter that if they did end up getting together in the end, Boston would be spending months trying to clean up little pieces of Nick from every nook and cranny because he would explode from excitement. lol
They really said with this series we're going to make sure there's absolutely no chance of Second Couple Syndrome (or even Third Couple Syndrome). lol
I actually almost wish they would have spent more time on the other couples if it was written right. Janus and Bom should be the "role model" couple to show Vee and Sky that friends to boyfriends can work, but even then it'll have it's up and downs just like any relationship and Tonkla and Baitong being the exact opposite of that showing that when dating a Dr. who has to work extreme shifts that it can really put a strain on your relationship and you really have to work harder to make it work. I think that's where they're trying to go with it, but the three couples are so separated from each other story wise that it doesn't play out like that. I think if it was intertwined more and the three couples were kind of seeking advice from each other that it would have made the story side of the series a lot better.
Normally for me the one one character giving everything all the time and the other either being completely standoff-ish and/or giving nothing in return can get bored quickly, but no matter how much Vee tries he always has even just a moment where Sky breaks him even just a but and that makes it fun to watch.
Bom and Baitong both definitely need to give their respective partners a good shift kick in the ass and hopefully Bom does it sooner rather than later. I have a feeling with Tonkla it's going to be a case of doesn't realizes what he's loosing until it's too late. Honestly character wise they've shown so little of Tonkla and Baitong that I don't really care if they end up fixing things or not. Actor wise It makes me wonder why they cast Max as a BL character if they're just always going to have it be where he's not really a BL character, but more just a filler character if that makes sense. Maybe the character that they've cast him in this series is as much BL as he's comfortable with doing, which is perfectly fine if that's the case, but if not, I'd really like to see them give him a more substantial BL character in the future. He actually seems like he's a decent actor, but gets underutilized so much that you can't really be sure.
Overall I do like the series, even if the story is as deep as a raindrop.
If you think Top is the most "red flag" character out of all of them then you seriously need to do some self reflection.…
so getting someone to heavily drink and do drugs, both of which can literally kill them isn't as bad as hurting someone's feelings....because that's what you just said!?
Well holy shit 9 episodes in and Mew is finally a 2D character.....maybe another 9 episodes and he'd actually have some depth. lol Seriously how is it that Yo who barely gets any screen time has more depth of character and why in the hell are they seriously underutilizing Jennie yet again!?
It's funny that this series plays around so much with mixing up the established working couples with each other and yet episode after episode the two that stand out together and even just throughout the series the most are Neo and Mark.
also why the most red flag character "top" i becoming my most favourite character
If you think Top is the most "red flag" character out of all of them then you seriously need to do some self reflection. lol
Yeah cheating on someone is bad and all, but Ray is self destructing AND taking others with him. That's a lot worse than what any of the others have done.
Xion Lim seriously needs to stick to doing the Mr. International, interviews, and other videos that require absolutely nothing of a story and leave everything else to someone else to do. Season 1 at least had a couple of cute moments and it's all gone downhill since then. Fifth X Zeke coming in season 2 gave a sense of hope it might get better, but second couple syndrome only goes so far on it's own. Now with season 3 they've taken everything they built with Fifth X Zeke in season 2, destroyed it, put the rest of the script in the blender, and only given us the worst parts. But hey let's throw in yet another new character, as if this series didn't already have dozens of unnecessary and useless characters.
I sure as hell hope Easy Ferrer didn't take time away from "The Day I Loved You" season 2 for this garbage. The sad part is some of the cast are good and you really want to watch it just for them, but damn every episode is making it harder to do.
I'm NEVER going to be able to look at olive oil the same way ever again....and I cook with it a lot!! lol

In all seriousness that had to have been one of the hardest sensual scenes to film I've ever seen in my 42 years of life. It's easier to get lost in your actions and the actions of your working partner in a sexual scene and block out that there's x amount of people in the room watching you, but this was all eyes on Nonkul and he made it look every bit of someone alone in their room bursting with sexual desire.
Perth in flirt mode makes all (okay almost all) the frustration with the terrible writing worth it.
If we're getting Guy X Nawa as a second couple PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it be one of those "I fucking hate you, but I want you so bad" as they're ripping each others clothes off type of deal.
This series is definitely helping to prove one thing thou, just because you're good at taking someone else's work and adapting it to a series does NOT always mean you're good at writing a series from scratch. This needed to be a slow burn Kang realizing he's fallen for Sailom (without all the pimfah bs) and Sailom trying to sort through all of his conflicting emotions. Have Kang flirting with Sailom like hell to finally crack his shell and then have the two of them flirting like hell in secret while they both work on getting their friends to soften up. This just feels way too rushed in all aspects and there's nothing connecting everything in a natural manner. But hey now we'll get the brother f'ing everything up for the next 4 episodes leading to the ep 11 curse and then boom everything will be all hunky dory for ep 12.
Misunderstandings compounded by lack of communication is and has always been my absolute least favorite trope…
yeah same here, but the way they're handling it in this one makes it interesting, makes you want to keep watching to see either which one is going to break first or which one is going to figure it all out first. lol
Hopefully ep 7 will finally be Mizuki recounting his side of everything to Yoh so he finally knows how Mizuki actually feels about him and then episode 8 just being them all cute and steamy with each other to end it out.
This is one of those continual misunderstanding each others feelings despite each other constantly giving clues about how they feel that's written well enough that it doesn't make you want to scream "JUST F'ING SAY IT ALREADY!!!!" after a couple of episodes and then drop it.
Okay...umm......who lit a fire under Studio Wabi Sabi and why didn't you do that years ago?!! lol
Tor and Mix gelled right from the start and while their relationship went from 1 to 100 because of the storyline in the first episode, nothing about it felt rushed.
Everything about it was good, but will I remember it in a week.....probably not.
That said, if they decided to do a second season of it would I watch it....yup. Actually the more I think about it right now, the more it almost felt like a mini-series prepping / testing the waters to see if a full series version would work.

Actually looking forward to seeing this progress.
