You know it's a bad show when you find yourself randomly making up reasons why the characters behave the way they…
I don't necessarily think it's always a bad thing when they leave a characters actions up for interpretation by the viewer. In The case of this series there are a lot of different possible reasons why Minato acted the way he did and many of those reasons are ones the audience can relate to, or not relate to, depending on their own personal experiences. Sometimes people act / react in a certain way and sometimes we find out why in the end and sometimes the reasons behind their actions always remain a mystery. Shin never tried forcing Minato, he just gave him some nudges along the way and was incredibly patient and things worked out for them in the end.
So uh where's the man in the jacket with the candies? I've been waiting for a few hours now since I actually liked…
If you're not already watching it check out "Love in Translation" that a good light / fluffy one that's going on right now.
also for good light non-bl series "Escape To Homestay" was really good and has some bl actors in it and "Across The Sky" is really good so far, but you have to watch it on kisskh because there's no official subs for it.
So uh where's the man in the jacket with the candies? I've been waiting for a few hours now since I actually liked…
lol someone really wants those candies... lol
PS: Glad we can have a bit of fun about it. Everyone has series they like or don't like or even parts of series they like and don't like, it's all individual tastes, etc. and that's perfectly okay. I'll never understand why some people get so rude over it.
I agree with everything. I just want to add, regarding your critique of Dunk's acting. That's exactly how I feel…
OHHHHH that Perth.... lol Sorry I thought you were talking about Perth Tanapon Sukumpantanasan. lol
Awesome, thanks for the link...I do like that Perth as well.
There was a series where one of the characters worked at taco bell, a couple where they've worked at 7-11, or even "The Promise" where the main company was the actual sponsor company. When it's stuff like that I don't mind it or even when there's just a product naturally placed in a scene, etc, but other times it's just totally ridiculous.
Actually I didn't mind the Lays side stories for vice versa. It wasn't past of the main story at all, took place after the main episode was over and it was easy to either watch it or skip it.
Now if you really want to talk about obnoxious product placement....just watch pretty much any pinoy bl series. lol
It gets fan subbed and posted on kisskh, but it usually takes a bit longer for it to get posted. For me the series airs on Saturdays but it's not usually until Sunday that the episode is up to watch.
I know they're setting it up for Sky and Khwan to be the couple so can we at least get a Sky X Chalam duet concert?? lol If Boss and Diamond ever decided to do an enemies to lover bl series they'd put most of the other bl couples to shame with the chemistry they have together on screen.
I agree with everything. I just want to add, regarding your critique of Dunk's acting. That's exactly how I feel…
No I haven't seen that Perth Q&A, I'll have to try and look for it and see if there's a version with subs as most of the time they don't get subtitled. But yeah there's so many outfits that you're just like WTF were they thinking putting some in that in that weather!? lol
Actually I don't mind the product placements when they're done in a very seamless subtle way, but then again I'm 42 so I'm used to movies, etc. having that, like I said in subtle ways. Some of those series are outrageous with the way they handle the product placement. I like how some of them leave the product placement for a little side story after the main episode is over.

It's GMM we're talking about.....we're lucky we're not getting engineering football playing high schoolers who also moonlight in the most out of character school clubs. lol
If this whole My Universe project is to test who works well together and who doesn't, then I'd say this one was a success.
I loved the fact they didn't try to rush Phat and Mhok together, they let it be a slow burn and focused more on Phat trying to get over his ex.
It was a complete dickhead move for Phat to ask Mhok what he would do if Phat told him he slept with his ex, and while I don't think he did, I'm so glad that scene was written in. Phat was so battered and bruised not just physically but emotionally that it really made sense for him to say something so extreme to test just how sincere Mhok was. It was also equally good the way they let it visibly affect Mhok, but then he picked himself up, dusted off, and proved to Phat that he's not trying to rush and force him by tellig him that he's single, it's his right, and in that proving to Phat his sincerity. Khun was all about "Hey Phat look I've changed, let's get back together now.", sure words are great and all, and yeah he apparently showed him proof he hasn't been drinking, but none of that addresses the level of hurt, etc. he caused.
By the end of episode 2 I really wanted an episode 3, I wanted to see the "Love Maniacs" being maniacs together and that shows they obviously got something right.
I agree with everything. I just want to add, regarding your critique of Dunk's acting. That's exactly how I feel…
I'd love to see Joong get the character type that doesn't sugar coat anything, comes off as a complete asshole, can be ruthlessly vicious to anyone that does anything bad to the few friends he has that can stand him, but is also fiercely romantic, bold, strong in his love.
I do think he could had a lot of fun with a character like that and excel at it...hell no one thought Neo could pull off a character like Boston until someone finally gave him a chance.
AAs far as Dunk is concerned, I think giving him a happy go lucky goofy mischievous character might be a good change from the drab solemn type they've been giving him, and it would be a good chance for him and a talented acting coach to really work on his on screen performance.

That's why I keep saying they need to start giving Joong different characters to play, he didn't start off like that but the more they keep giving him the same characters the worse it's getting. I'm just not sure if it's just that they keep giving him the same characters or if it's also burn out of being stuck with Dunk everytime.
In case you get hate, I really liked this series too. It shows the struggles that some people go through on their…
Why would anyone comment about neither family being bothered by Zo and Joke's relationship.....Joke's Grandma is the only one we know for sure actually knows they're together although it's pretty obvious Zo's mom has figured it out. Hell Joke's family was calling Zo "His Friend" even in the last episode.
To those of us who survived through to the end, I salute you.
To those of us who fell along the way, we'll remember your sacrifice.
To those of you who thought this was actually good.....The men with the funny looking jacket and handful of candies will be along shortly to take you to the really funny room with pads on the walls and floor. lol :P

At this point the GMMTV merch machine might as well start cranking out life-sized Dunk bobble-heads, they already have a working prototype. lol Dunk's voice is already very monotone on it's own so there's very little / no emotion conveyed in it, this makes it so much more important that he conveys emotion through other means. The problem is he stands there stiff as a board, bobbing his head and does nothing to convey any emotion, and that's all amplified because of his voice. Part of this is he gets the same character type every time, and the other part is it's obvious none of the acting coaches have bothered to straight up tell him the issue and actually work with him on improving it. It doesn't help any that GMM is more concerned with selling the ship and selling the merch than the actual quality of the series. The worst part about it is when they're doing an event, candid video content, etc. he's not like that so it's a matter of how he comes across on camera when acting and not just being himself.
As far as Joong is concerned, they REALLY need to start giving him some better roles that aren't just the same cookie-cutter nice guy no matter how much het gets kicked, soft spoken, walks on egg shells type.
I stopped watching this series at ep 3 cause I got bored. Did it end up getting better and should I try to continue…
DON'T LISTEN TO THE HATERS!!!! The ending was amazing.....well because it ended!! lol
Honestly it's another Joong X Dunk series, boring, completely forgettable, adds a second couple but barely shows them so second couple syndrome doesn't kill the Joong X Dunk merch hype machine, and of course relies on Joong heavily to carry every scene. There's also more poof everything is fixed magic than a box of lucky charms cereal.
