I know there's a lot of people that really didn't like this season, but I personally really liked it. There's a lot of possible reasons for why Minato acted the way he did this season, and I liked that they didn't nail it down to any one specific thing. A new possible reason I thought of while watching episode 12 was sometimes the getting together part can be just as if not more awkward than the chase. I honestly didn't mind the 1 step forward, 2-3 steps back sometimes dynamic that Minato and Shin had this season as it was balanced with all the progress Shun and Asuka made together over the season.
Ahhhh poor sweet Asuka always being the unintentional cock block extraordinaire. After that scene in ep 12 I'm pretty sure Shin is going to start sending Asuka a text with a sock and door emojis before he goes on the attack with Minato. lol
As much as I didn't want to deal with yet another amnesia plot, I wish they had started with that a few episodes earlier, finished it out a few episodes earlier and then had a few episodes of Minato making up for all the "lost time" that he didn't openly share his feelings / affection with Shin. Yeah the scene at then end in front of the Laundromat was cute and all, but that should have been the jumping off point of like I said earlier, Minato making up for lost time.
Overall, it's one I would watch again, and yes that includes both seasons.

There's just one lingering question that went unanswered.....who landed a successful attack first, Shin or Asuka?? lol
I started watching this series as a big fan of Mark Siwat, but episode 1 already captivated me. The story is heartwarming,…
I'm really hoping to see a second season as well.
I think the biggest obstacle to this would be filling the void left by not having Rudklao's character in the season. However if Top and the guys are going to come back and run the Homestay then they could easily hire someone to help with the cooking, etc. since Top can't cook and that would give them the chance to bring in a new character to help fill the tough love / wise sage advice role along with the things that Thap taught the boys along the way.
Another way they could do it is once the guys come back, Top starts going through grandma's things and finds a journal she left with recipes, bits of wisdom, etc. that they refer back to when trying to run the homestay. This way they could actually have Rudklao return to do voiceovers when they're reading the journal and give a good gone but not forgotten vibe to it.
Thanks for the rewrite. Someone else got paid for the crappy script and yours was much better.
One thing I've noticed with a lot of the writers lately (and adaptors for small and big screen) is that they skip the foundational steps and go right into writing. The first step should always be to write out an extensive character creation sheet for all main characters, whereas you can get away with a less extensive one for minor characters, but it's still just as important.
In that way you can ensure that the story is always adapted to the character's traits and you don't end up compromising the character. There are obviously points in a story where the story will effect the character and change some of their traits, but it never completely compromises the core of the character.
Unfortunately the main focus seems to be on creating "magic moments" instead of actually writing a quality story anymore. Sure it sells, just like old school trashy romance novels used to, but the quality also suffers from it as the the development of a lot of the actors.
The last couple of episodes with the whole notebook manufactured drama really let this series down, along with a few other missteps along the way.
They spent the majority of the series showing off Pun as this total goofball who can't barely contain himself, yet all he did was just sit there behind the altar as Ashi walked away!?!? NO, NOT OUR PUN....he would have jumped out screaming I love you too, scaring the shit out of Ashi in the process, laughed about it and then made up for it with tons of hugs and kisses. Instead we get two back to back different bridge scenes with pretty much the same dialogues.
Pun would have had Ashi, Muang, and Ms. Wan all explaining to him that actors draw from their real life experience to improve their acting long before this ever became an issue, and like he didn't already know that Title was trying to get Ashi the whole time. That whole last minute plot wasted so many episodes that could have been better spent in much better ways.
After the first Japan trip they should have just had Praew / Ban get arrested like they did and have Title lose the lead role spot in the upcoming series because of his involvement with it all. Then have Ashi Go to Japan for the series / movie promotion like they did. After Ashi returned they could have had Pun and Ashi be the leads together in the new series and that be how they get to unofficially date in public until the one year "no public relationship" clause for the Japanese production was over.
This also would have given them more time to actually do something of quality with the second couple other than just have them around to f like jack rabbits to distract from all the out of character / poor plot decisions.
So much wasted potential in the execution, especially when the four leading guys (and Ben as support) are capable of so much more. Hopefully now that Ja didn't renew his contract he'll be able to pick more quality material than what Triple 8 was giving him.
lmaoo! its the fact youโre commenting on this show too when we were on Our Story page๐๐๐๐ I love…
Nope.....it's still 11 episodes and counting of watching paint dry at a funeral of someone you didn't even like then given a ray of sunshine that is shirtless and/or cute Joong only to have that snatched away and find out you have an after funeral party to go to with even more people you don't like and you can't get out of it. lol
NOTE: for anyone that hasn't watched this because of the black magic reference in the synopsis, it's not actually black magic. There's nothing dark / sinister/ evil in intent, going on. It actually revolves around Tarot cards, emotional healing "magic", which again is things like write your name and your exes name on two candles, tie a rope between the candles, light the candles and when the rope burns you'll start to forget your ex type stuff. So if that's the reason why you haven't watched it then there's nothing to worry about there.

It's so refreshing to see short little mini-series done as two episodes trying out various pairings, etc. while not trying to stretch a simple storyline over 6-8-12 episodes.
Junior is a little stiff in this first episode, but it's also his first acting role so allowances for that can be made, especially if in episode two there's at least a bit that shows his potential.
I REALLY want to see Phat have a total earth shattering emotional breakdown in episode 2. So far the only thing they've really given Milk to express is a fake smile...I think he could really shine with an extremely heavy emotional scene so I hope we get it.

Damn stalker.....next thing I know you'll be sending me a friend request and asking me for my pizza dough recipe while making an argument for which one is the better actor.....Dunk or ChukChuk!!! LOL :P
Or we're both just really sadistic gluttons for punishment that can walk away from bl series train wrecks. lol
Memo to production: NEVER have Joong and Dunk do individual emotional scenes back to back, the vast gap in their ability to portray emotions is already obvious enough.
PS: also NEVER try to stretch out a 6 episode at best storyline to 12 episodes.
I feel like Phorjai is still scared or not ready to comes out?? I won't be mad if they break up because honestly,…
That's what I was originally thinking as well but with the quality of the writing with this series, it just feels so off that they haven't had a conversation about it if it's something like that.
Phojai may call Tag Munchkin but he's going to learn the hard way he's not too short to give him a swift kick in the nuts if he doesn't stop worrying about his brother's life and start focusing on his own relationship.
WAIT WAIT HOL UP HOL UP. i thought they left chukchuk in last season. i'm tired of chukchu and Jelai lame storyline..…
Ace and Sky's story ended in the first season, other than a cameo or two in the second season Ms. Becky, Kim, Jelai, etc. should have ended there. The second season should have just been Sky and Win's story with Fifth X Zeke being the secondary couple and then this final season being fifth X Zeke as the mains and Joel and Jason being the support roles. It makes sense to keep Sky's mom around as she runs the boarding house, but none of the rest should have made it past their seasons other than again as a brief cameo.
There's nothing wrong with having a linking factor between seasons, but not have those linking factors be major parts of the season and definitely not over taking the main focus of the season.

I love how Offroad keeps getting these characters that are so different from others he's played.
Boss's acting so far in the first two episodes is brilliant and the emotions he portrays as Sky are infectious.
Phojai may call Tag Munchkin but he's going to learn the hard way he's not too short to give him a swift kick in the nuts if he doesn't stop worrying about his brother's life and start focusing on his own relationship.
Or he really is just that terrible of a director, etc. lol
