I am sad that yining days in Luo family as daughter, sister and grand daughter will be ended ππ
It's hilarious to me how entrenched she is in this role and that they will marry her back into the family to keep her π€£π€£π€£. LSY feeling like a hero: Look I brought her back
So essentially they lack transition shots. They let the viewer fill in the blanks instead of showing how someone…
Unfortunately if they had to cut out those scenes in editing, they just left unnecessary plot holes. Like the scene I used for example, she could have been in an opposite room or window and the outcome would have still logically occurred but inexplicably putting her in the room and allowing her to escape, is too much plot convenience. If they had actually scripted, acted and shot that full sequence to then lose it in post production is sad. Nothing wrong with plot conveniences but it seems to happen often and spontaneously whilst the rest of the drama is relatively realistic. I remember laughingly cheering in LLTG every time Zi Sheng showed up out of thin air to save Niao Niao. It won't ruin a drama for me but I'll just have to suspend my disbelief a little higher and steadier.
I hope Ci Sha gets more villian roles, His visuals are great to portray sinister and scary characters.
I hated him in Blue Whisper. It wasn't believable to me. I kept waiting for them to reveal the character was a villain. I've been so happy to see him in RON. I want more projects like this for him. Even worse villains ππ
Let's see. They always have things like falling off mountain cliffs and living, which even FL did in this story,…
There is a line once crossed, the audience doesn't believe in what they are seeing. Is the ml special or do people just not die in this world? How loud do their voices carry? Why are they saying secrets in the open? The level or number of inconsistencies is an indication of the total quality of the drama. Which is why even though Gu Ting Ye saves Minglan from TSOML as much as Ling Bu Yi saved Shao Shang in LLTG; TSOML is a better drama because the rescues were logical and strength of GTY didn't fluctuate based on plot convenience.
I don't think we talk about just how great of a fighter LSY is. Like my boy is β¨οΈβ¨οΈAMAZINGβ¨οΈβ¨οΈ. Everytime he gets in a fight I'm likeπππ₯°π and God bless his heart, he's always getting into fights π
SY probably already sensed there was something between YN and LJX at their first encounter. The way she was terrified…
A large part of that is not wanting to really know. Even if he feels differently; he has accepted that he would probably only ever be a brother to her but he is in no rush to see her have feelings and marry someone else.
Honestly, them changing plot from arrange marriage to directly in love is so wrong, i mean practically it is impossible…
This is what I'm saying about the uncle-niece relationship. Even if they aren't blood related. They only ever knew each other and acknowledged each other as family. To fall in love with someone you have a familiar relationship with... it's weird. Acceptable sure but weird nonetheless.
The drama is going great. The story is solid, acting is great, characters are intriguing and it looks and sounds π; however sometimes, too many to ignore, people appear and disappear based entirely on plot conveniences. The most recent glaring example was Ning's presence in that room during the Chen Dayaon prison break. I was like "Now how could she possibly sneak into this room?"π So far it hasn't ruined the story but.... I worry they will eventually take it too far and just let something completely illogical happen. Making it hard to believe the physics of the world like in Fast and Furious.
When it comes to the romance part of this drama, I think the writers are aiming to show us the consequences of…
True to everything you said but what I'm enjoying the most about this drama is seeing the lives of the men. Alot of these historical dramas are from the female POVs and only brush the men as love interests but this drama is giving alot of space to see how the societal and family structures and battles playout for the men involved. Although they are expected to not involve themselves in the "inner court" drama, the things happening there shape their lives. It's so much fun watching all these male characters interact and intersect with it. I've been hoping for a drama like this and who knew I would happen upon it in a drama named after a female character.

Yi Ning: He... was my first love....
Yuan: I'M GONNA KILL HIM!!!!

Looked at myself like "why do you hate womenπ«£"
Him: Love of my life
Her: Best Brother in the world

The hand clench- I'm excited. It's either anger or jealously. And I don't careπππ I love it either way
Ning: In our next life I hope to be your sibling again
Yuan: π
