this having only 7.9 is a crime it at least deserve 8.5
Some haters rated every single episode with 1. I mean, I can accept if someone hates the drama and drops it, but then why rate episodes you haven’t even watched? So if you like it, please rate all the episodes.
Why can wait for his contract to expire and leave them? Why choose to retirement?
He is currently working on Shui Long Yin in a supporting role that he got on his own initiative. His agency wanted him to start on another project in parallel with no regard to his wishes or his health. I don’t know what the other project was, but it was a drama that he didn’t want to do, so probably another shitty script with a trainee idol actress. His agency are quite keen on such projects because usually the sugar daddies or real daddies behind these would-be actresses are rich and will pay good money to add a respected actor to their project. He could not just refuse the role because then he would be in breach of his contract. He tried to terminate the contract and offered to pay the penalty, but the agency refused. They want to milk him till he drops! So his only option was to give up acting altogether.
No. There should be one other person interested in the FL, but it’s never even considered. At least if they stick to the novel. These darn scriptwriters have a habit of inventing love triangles where there weren’t any…
I looked up into this nonsense... as if that aunt doesn't have kids of her own, TWO males, one of them has already…
Thank you! We have to be grateful that so far this seems to be the only smoke bomb that Jeremy’s opponents have come up with to distract everyone’s attention from the career-destroying bullying and sabotaging that Jeremy has suffered.
Would love to see him in a bigger role, too, but most likely his character's screentime in SLY won't be that big. It's…
I don’t think that he will need much screen time to blow everyone out of their socks. If this drama becomes a success (which I’m sure it will) and he receives some recognition for this role that he chose all by himself, it will be the best way to give the finger to the people who let him rot in 3rd class dramas with trainee actresses for so long.
Is there any hope that Jeremy will still be the ML? TT I was so happy about this. I hope it's already been filmed…
From what I’ve heard, Shui Long Yin, which is currently filming, will be his last project. I’ve never seen this drama officially mentioned by him or his fan service, so I don’t know where this information came from. Sadly, I now think that this is not going to happen. 😳😢
Correction (21/03/2024) Jeremy is currently filming for another guest appearance in Feng Ying Ran Mei Xiang. So there are now three more dramas with him to air.
someone that has watched this please clear something for me? in ep 1 around 13 minute mark. there’s a flashback…
It’s one of Lu Yan’s dreams of his previous life. Shen Zhen left him and he didn’t want to read her farewell letter because it would not change anything and only make him sadder.
It seems that some I’ll-intentioned people are now spreading rumours that he’s retired to take over an imaginary family business. These rumours are completely false and a desperate attempt to distract everyone’s attention from the very obvious bullying and sabotaging that he has suffered by trying to give him a spoilt rich kid image.
Yes, I will help, I hope his fans in China are supporting him.
And yes, fans are messaging the agency ‘Asian Stars’ every hour with the same messages (in fat red letters) demanding an explanation and accusing them of bullying. There will probably be more action once fans get organised.
Considering this might be Jeremy's last project, I pray he gets lots of screentime and that his character is one…
Same. I hope this will be the masterpiece that people will remember him by. Fingers crossed they will give us his original voice and singing. 🙏 I’m so sad that it had to come to this because of some scum agency.
I would have liked it if your rating was a any better. Any shitty idol drama filled with would-be actors/actresses scores 8.5 on MDL these days… This one may have had some weaknesses, but it had solid acting and avoided many of the usual tropes, so I’m thinking it deserves much better than your 7.5
It is very sad that a kind person like him is being bullied into quitting by an agency.
