Regarding his retirement... Honestly, he's been offered so many roles in low quality dramas with young FLs lacking…
Yes, it’s really unfair. He seems to be a very nice and kind person unlike some snotty idol boys who are making demands as soon as they’ve got one moderately successful drama and this is probably the reason why his agency behaved in such a despicable way. It’s easy to bully a gentle and kind person who keeps suffering in silence. Now his fans are livid and demanding answers!

Yes, I see his fans are heckling the agency for answers and they have decided to play dead. I find it terrible that actors have to resort to such drastic measures (or even suicide, as the recent case in Korea) for their struggles to even get noticed. This kind of modern slave trade where an actor “belongs” to an agency and cannot decide upon his own life and career is inhumane.
Have yall seen this??? Jeremy is leaving the industry. This is so sad to see. Jeremy Tsui is actually one of the…
Yes, it is very sad to see this brilliant actor having to give up what he loves because of a scum agency. His fans are in uproar everywhere. Maybe he should have shared a bit of his struggles and mobilized that fan power. So far, no comment from the agency…
Right now, there are two rumors:1. Problems with his health2. The agency wanted him to continue with roles he…
The second hypothesis makes a lot more sense based on what we know. It would seem natural for someone like him to move towards some more serious acting roles and he posted today that he would finish all contracted work. If it were health reasons, it would be more likely to seek treatment immediately. I am hoping against reason that this another example of the Chinese retreating in order to advance strategy.
I remember that post. I am glad he is taking a stance and if it costs him his job, he will be remembered as the…
Absolutely! As sad as I am about this, it proves again why he is an actor and a person worth following. There are many handsome actors and quite a few talented ones, but there’s only one like him! It had been clear for a while now that things must be going on behind the scenes that he didn’t wish to whine about in public like so many others do.
Jeremy Tsui, this wonderful and talented actor just announced his retirement from the industry. This is what happens when greedy agencies have too much power.

I just saw it as well. Absolutely shocked and devastated! These agencies have far too much power and they are ruining the industry. Brilliant actors have to quit or don’t get any roles, while talentless idols are pushes into the limelight.
Damn it :( I’ve just realized🤔 we won't see Jeremy for at least 2 years as a 1ML because it takes so much…
It will be a tough wait! I will have to re-watch my favourite old dramas a few more times until then… He said something on his Weibo (if I understood it correctly) that a new role would be coming soon, but so far we have no idea what it will be…
Last two episodes are out for regular VIP. I like this drama, although there are things that could have been better.…
I think the problem with the dreams is that they couldn’t make them as meaningful as in the novel because reincarnation I storylines are always in the eye of censorship. Maybe there were more meaningful scenes and they had to cut them, we don’t know. In the novel the dreams provided Lu Yan with important clues regarding his cases and helped him prevent a catastrophe. They weren’t only about his relationship with the FL. I agree with you that in the drama version the dreams serves very little purpose and if they had been left out, nobody would miss them
I haven't watched either, but I find this one quite funny 😂 Like sometimes a dramas humor is meh for me but…
Yeah, it’s something silly to watch over a quick cup of tea 😀 The plot falls apart in the last few episodes, but it’s ok as I never expected much anyway. I’m now watching Secrets of the Shadow Sect… it’s a lot darker, but three episodes in it is quite an interesting watch…
That maybe so, but it looks cheap, even the makeup on some people looks like it has been applied with a spatula by a five-year-old. If not costumes, make-up or CGI, I wonder what the budget was spent on? That being said, if the action and the story is good I’m willing to take a trip back to the 90s 😂
Yes, it’s one of my favourites. I think many people didn’t get the subtle irony that runs through the whole drama. The way he keeps saying “Princess” occasionally had me rolling on the carpet with laughter. Perfect comedic timing!
I am waiting for "In blossom" which most probably will release next week....while the legend of shenli i will…
Yes, in Blossom is also on my list. I think I prefer this to Legend of Shen Li because it’s a historical, not a xianxia and also because I like the ML.
I wish they would let him dub himself - after Autumn Ballad have been dying to hear his voice again
Do you really think they don’t let him? I rather feel like he has no interest in doing it… Whatever the reason, it’s a crying shame and I can only hope that in future dramas we get the “full package” of voice + face.
Watched two episodes so far and oh my, this drama feels… tacky. The CGI looks good enough to me., so I think it must be the weird costumes and makeup that look like straight out of a re-enactment troupe’s Sunday performance. I get it that this is based on an anime and they wanted to keep the same style, but what looks good in Anime doesn’t necessarily look good on real humans… At least so far it’s moderately entertaining, so let’s see how it continues.

Plus the actor has a presence like a house. I really love his scenes.

“Puny humans, you want to fight me?” sardonic smile. I nearly died!
So freaking hot!
