He always looks to be in good spirits when he's on the SLY set.
Yep, I’ve noticed that, too. I assume he is getting some support from them behind the scenes. They look like a very warm and supportive crowd and the working atmosphere on set looks to be very good.
Good! Fang Yilun deserves another good drama as the ML..
Initially, I didn’t like him much, but after seeing him in AJTL I realised that he has a similar problem to Xu Zhengxi: getting cast in stupid roles in formulaic dramas. Plus the type of stiff-faced ML doesn’t suit him at all. He needs cheeky and charming…
I don't understand why a lot of cdramas push the narrative that once someone is handsome or beautiful that's all.…
It’s a reflection of the audience’s mentality. Many seem to think that if an actor/actress looks beautiful, they can act. If they don’t look beautiful by Chinese standards (i.e. had enough plastic surgery to look like a clone) then it doesn’t matter if they can act.
Bad ?? Naaah not that bad it is a decent show time filler and I don't think JT looking old in this.
The commentator above just hates Jeremy and is leaving the same boring and ageist comments on all his drama pages. Probably has never watched any of it. It’s best to just ignore the sad little creature…
He is my fav actor. I really love watching all his dramas. I love his unique voice ... unfortunately most of his…
It’s not so much that drama makers didn’t value him than his greedy agency that forced him into taking roles that brought them the highest return, rather than giving him the opportunity to shine in roles of his choice. They even went as far as sabotaging a role that he had negotiated for himself.
Jeremy took the opportunity of a promotional appearance for “Burning Flames” yesterday (see link below for the clip) to share some of his thoughts and future plans. He would like to take some time to go travelling with his parents and reorganise his life. In the discussion he also expressed his interest in becoming a film director, so there is a good chance that he will be back in one way or another. https://weibo.com/tv/show/1034:5019158166044700?from=old_pc_videoshow
Yes, it is very sad news, especially since this wasn’t really a voluntary retirement, but a last resort in a desperate situation. Choosing between his health/sanity and the profession he loves is a choice nobody should have to make. We are all hoping that he will be back in one way or another, even if it isn’t as an actor…
There has been a drought for good costume dramas recently.
The emphasis being on GOOD. There’s just an endless line-up of idol-filled dramas with assembly-line scripts and mediocre acting. I would exchange a dozen of them for one Nirvana in Fire…
Why is there no news of this drama. They just released a small trailer and that’s it. After that no post picture…
This only wrapped about two months ago, you can expect five to six months for post production at the least. It isn’t unusual that there are no further news/releases during this period.

This show has some of the worst music in a long tome!
It’s best to just ignore the sad little creature…
