If you haven't seen Nirvana in Fire (which Liu Tao stars in), you absolutely should, it's a masterpiece. Personally, I won't be watching this because it's way too long, but the score has been an all-time favorite for years now. I adore every single track of it.

Once, I can (maybe, somewhat) understand. But TWICE?? The success of WoH got to their heads, they’ve become the worst channel out there I’ve never seen anyone as unprofessional as they are. I’m so mad right now. They should apologize and grovel like there’s no tomorrow, especially to their paying users.

That's par for the course when you get a CDrama featuring any sort of government worker, unfortunately.

She's not whiny, she has depression and grew up in a toxic household. It takes time and a lot of bravery to fight against that. That's basically what the story is about, too. Her character arc is very well-written.

Yes, I agree about that. What I disagree on is what you said about the show being better if those scenes hadn't been in there.

For me, it's every time he explains to THE two masters how bad they are at martial arts. Gets me every time 😂

Cheng Yi acted in The Lost Tomb 2, btw. He was an excellent Xiao Ge.

TBOY's thematic is completely different, though. It's about young people building the world of tomorrow as the previous generation gets ready to pass down the torch. MLC, on the other hand, has a dying protag whose only goal is to put his affairs in order before he dies...

I absolutely agree with you about hoping they change the ending. I hate SE. and LLH has suffered enough, he deserves to roam the jianghu with his two bffs to his heart's content.

I disagree, their scenes together were necessary in both of their journeys. They had to talk about it in order to get proper closure and realize that they'd grown past their young love. If you look at what we see about their relationship in the past, they clearly weren't suitable for each other and it was just an infatuation they had to grow past. To him, it's also a way to settle this part of his past before he dies. He can be at peace about this at least, knowing she found her happiness and won't be alone after he does pass.

I hate that they changed the schedule. I was so happy at first when I saw they'd be airing two episodes every day!
