Good grief! So much flirting...:)Everything that comes out of Wen Ke Xing’s mouth is either flirtatious or subliminally…
So true! Back when ZZH was cast, I was really worried because in Legend of Yunxi he was so stiff and unnatural, and he wasn't much better in The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion. But then I saw him in Word of Honor and it feels like I'm seeing a different man altogether, he's so good and natural!
Hey! Yes, it's based on a BL novel called Faraway Wanderers, written by Priest (who also wrote Guardian). So far, it's very good. Sizzling chemistry between the leads and a lot of fun. Also, if you've seen The Untamed and thought that one was intense, believe me when I say you've seen nothing yet. Give it a try, I definitely recommend it!
Especially about Bailing, after everything he did, the pain he caused, the devastating consequences of his actions, the fact that he got only a slap on the wrist made me very angry. It was just so unfair to everyone else!
Same about Si Feng, this guy is a heavenly prince yet we don't get to see anything about him? Why did he side with God of War in the first place? How did he know she was innocent? How come nobody (especially Bailing) recognized him even though he'd been in Heaven for 10 thousand years with the same face he had as a mortal?
I was invested in Rahu Ketu, personally, but this genderbend thing was very weird, and his story came far too late imo.
They had an interesting premise and good production, but boy did they ruin everything through bad writing and terrible execution.
haha i also enjoy relatively stronger female leads but I never thought XJ was dumb. JM from AoL was REALLY dumb…
Thank you, I really appreciate that! I watched up to episode 35 today, and there's a huge misunderstanding coming up (what a surprise ^^") which I'm really not looking forward to, but I had the best time when Teng She finally met our couple. He's just so much fun, and his yelling at Hao Chen had me in stitches, Hao Chen's face omg I couldn't stop laughing.

You know, I watched episodes 25-29 yesterday, and thought to myself how good it felt to have a female lead who stands up for herself and doesn't let her father or martial brothers step all over her and order her around. I was very worried about that at first, and worried that she wouldn't be deserving of SF and his suffering, but I do think she's worth it and deserves him, because boy does she stand up for him. Even if the misunderstandings are frustrating and make me want to scream sometimes, it's worth it for those two, they're too adorable.
And your comment just comforts me in my decision never to watch Ashes of Love XD Everything I've heard about the FL makes me dislike her, and this even more than the rest.
