I'm at episode 5, and this is very good so far! Just like with Maiden Holmes, I went in expecting nothing, and just like with Maiden Holmes, I was very pleasantly surprised. The main characters are all smart in their way and bring their own abilities and skills to the table. Their interactions are a delight, with Chu Chu fitting seamlessly into the Prince's little group. And also, the lighting is absolutely gorgeous. It's the first time I see candlelight actually flickering over the actors' faces. Seriously, give it a try, it's worth it so far!
Exactly!! why, why, why. Its so difficult to reconcile the two, they are like 2 different people.
That's great to know! I'm at episode 9 now, fast-forwarding a lot, but I still like her and he's getting a bit more likable too. Thanks for the reassurance!
Depends. IMO, if you’ve watched a lot of dramas, this one will probably feel very bland. If you haven’t, you might enjoy it. Best way to know is to give it a try!
Except all things about female lead I also felt like it's like love O2O
The ML is pretty much the same character as Yang Yang's: he's good at everything, aloof, women flock to him... the only difference is that he's a fan of hers, but were she a random college student, it'd be the same story except that she'd never have caught his attention. Tbh, FL is the only thing keeping me there so far, but I'm only at episode 3 so I'm hoping it gets better later on.
Good news! Apparently, the show's weibo account released an 8-minute video in which they shuffled some footage so as to change the ending, but MGTV are being jerks and refusing to change it on YT. https://twitter.com/jungasukide/status/1375839903456579584?s=20
I completely 100% agree with you. I really cannot comprehend this decision despite most might argue WKX is trying…
People dislike ZZS? How? Why? I'm just ?? How can you dislike him? But also, I absolutely agree with all of you, that was unnecessarily cruel. (But I kinda look forward to it anyway, because yay whump!)
Do you like Donghua? I'm watching one 'the emperor's strategy' and it's BL and I'm loving it. The SouthWest King…
There's also Thousand Autumns, which is adapted from the danmei novel of the same name. The book is absolutely fantastic. I haven't started the donghua yet, but it's also on WeTV, if you'd like to give it a try.
I was all ready to drop it when the news dropped, and actually marked it as such, but now that I'm a bit calmer,…
Yes, he was the only good thing in Well-Intended Love, and now I want to watch his latest drama Guardians of the Tomb, but there are no subs anywhere, so I have to wait... I'll be following his career, in any case.
Right? I am actually planning on editing a version with all cut scenes back inside and I am planning on just cutting…
Ah, thank you, Jen, I look forward to that! I was actually planning on editing the better ending/spin off in the place of the bad one once it got released, too. (Also, sorry for not replying to your last message, I couldn't find it anymore...)
Minus the last 5 minutes of unnecessary dumbassery the show is great that’s what annoys me more. Now people might…
I was all ready to drop it when the news dropped, and actually marked it as such, but now that I'm a bit calmer, I find myself unable to do so. I just really love those characters far too much, and the music and the visuals... I'll keep watching, stop at 26:55, and edit the good ending on the episode once it's released.
