u should try Cross Fire where luhan is in and there he’s a better actor and it’s. good drama
This was his first time acting, I think he did okay, considering.

Title The Lost Tomb 2: Explore with the Note Spoiler
I agree! It seems they were trying to separate it completely from UN (produced by a diffdrent company) by revealing…
Same, it was an easy watch for me, but I expected it to tie into UN and it doesn't at all, so I'm thoroughly confused and waiting for my friend who's read the books to finish it and tell me whether it's me or the script. But they left so many loose ends that will remain forever unsolved (like Xiao Hua, for example), and that last-minute cliffhanger, too...

The shows are technically all sequential, but the production over the years has been such an organizational disaster,…
I’d advise against starting with Ultimate Note because it sets the bar so high you can only be disappointed by the rest…

I just finished it and I’m just… so confused? Nothing made any sense to me, and it doesn’t seem to tie into Ultimate Note at all, or did I miss something? Or maybe you need to read the books to get it?

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 1
So that is Cheng Yi's voice?
I second the question, because the way his voice cracked in the trailer?? Top-notch acting right there.

Never got far enough into that one to notice. But Ugly Beauty took a track from "My Love From the Star", changed the key and thought we wouldn't notice...

This show appears to have borrowed some of the BGM from the Drama 'Healer' - very apt given the subject matter...lol

Title The Lost Tomb 2: Explore with the Note
So, he is the screen writer 🤔
I honestly don't understand how this project could go to this guy. Going from his MDL page, he has next to zero experience and is pretty old (i.e. pretty conservative, probably)... And going from his work here, he clearly doesn't give a damn about 1. the source material, 2. the characters and 3. the audience... What a waste.

For those who saw the pictures, the costumes are test only! They aren’t the official ones and their hair isn’t…
Oh, that's great to know, thank you for the info! I try not to judge this early on, but I admit when I saw them I... kinda... felt my heart drop.

Is there no Hei XiaZi in this season? He is not included on the cast list...
He hasn't made an appearance so far (I'm at episode 17), so probably not. He was hardly in TLT2 as well.

It is not as bad as I thought based on the comments... It is not at the same level as UN, but it is similar to…
Same here! Once it catches up to the end of TLT2, it's alright. The characterization's still way off, but the tomb-exploring is entertaining.

Just be glad you're not using machine-translated subtitles out of desperation.
These are the subtitles from iQIYI, so machine-translated. What I want is an actual, legible translation so I can properly enjoy the show.

At least we have Yao Lu! I think he's the best actor playing "the uncle".
Agreed! I'm at episode 12 now and I'm enjoying myself much more.
