The ML is pretty much the same character as Yang Yang's: he's good at everything, aloof, women flock to him... the only difference is that he's a fan of hers, but were she a random college student, it'd be the same story except that she'd never have caught his attention. Tbh, FL is the only thing keeping me there so far, but I'm only at episode 3 so I'm hoping it gets better later on.

Good news! Apparently, the show's weibo account released an 8-minute video in which they shuffled some footage so as to change the ending, but MGTV are being jerks and refusing to change it on YT.

People dislike ZZS? How? Why? I'm just ?? How can you dislike him? But also, I absolutely agree with all of you, that was unnecessarily cruel. (But I kinda look forward to it anyway, because yay whump!)

There's also Thousand Autumns, which is adapted from the danmei novel of the same name. The book is absolutely fantastic. I haven't started the donghua yet, but it's also on WeTV, if you'd like to give it a try.

She's not, she comes off a bit strong at first, but she quickly grows on you. I really wasn't expecting to like her so much, but I did.

I was all ready to drop it when the news dropped, and actually marked it as such, but now that I'm a bit calmer, I find myself unable to do so. I just really love those characters far too much, and the music and the visuals... I'll keep watching, stop at 26:55, and edit the good ending on the episode once it's released.

I was honestly expecting him to put a bullet through his head, and was very surprised (and kinda disappointed, I have to admit) that he didn't. I mean, the guy lost everything and everyone. Chen Yu Zhi was his anchor in so many ways, his salvation... how can he go on? Jiang Yue Lou doesn't strike me as the type of man who can move on and just live after losing his significant other.

Yeah, I watched that one years ago, and it wasn't great... The only thing I remember is that it made me uneasy because of the power imbalance between them, and the constant "no homo" got on my nerves.

It's probably because most international viewers are stuck on the Youtube release, so only halfway through... They'll rate it once they're done watching, but that'll take some time since the release schedule is at 3 episodes a week now.
