yeah I figure, again it no different then FoF. they spend the first 5 episode solving the drowning bride case... Where VoS does different is xiaowei have a bigger implication in the overall plot then the fish demon did.

I totally understand, there's still one mystery to me that wasn't answered. It's about Manman and Dizhu, trying to figure out whose memories it was, and I thought it was Jiu Ying. But in Episode 15, Jiu Ying was shocked that both MM and DZ were possessed by a demon.
This implies JY has no idea that they are in an illusion. So, who memories it is DZ or MM? Cause depends on who remembers it, it opens up a new rabbit hole.
