I don't know why people are crying about VFX here cuz you can't judge a drama by first 3 episodes, and I don't think their VFX are years behind BFTB. The TOTEM have really spoiled the people here but you have to understand, in my opinion TOTEM had the best VFX in the entire world.
Secondly Xu Kai + Nazha = extreme production cost
So I believe they were already short on cash after that and to top that off, they used artificial environment to make his homeland. Natural scenery would have looked thousand times better and it could have saved them a lot of production cost.

She did appear on a-lot of variety shows but you have to understand that, China is suffering from "old trash syndrome" and certain old actress, which were not extra-ordinary by any account like to bad mouth young gen of 90's gen and it even happened during the casting of LLTG.
Lusi was targeted by a-lot of people cuz they were after the role and they spread the news, that a young actress can't portray a complicated role but director stood his ground and carried on with shooting. Same thing happened to Bai-lu and everybody was against her for the role of Su Su in Till the end of moon.
So, my point is everybody have to make then ends meet and She is doing a lot of variety shows to earn a living.

Why are after Bai Lu, I don't hate Lusi but you can compare their stats right now and you will see Bai Lu is consistently giving hits....year after years. She gained recognition by "The Legends" and then after that, there was arsenal academy, Love is sweet, one and only, forever and ever and then till the end of moon.
I love Lusi and have been supporting her from early days of her career (oh my emperor) but still I will acknowledge, that her popularity is due to LLTG and she lost the momentum by two sub-par drama's now.
