Yes, SJ is a great guy & people can love him all the way for themselves, but story wise, character wise, background wise, he is never been the one for JG, SH & JG are made for eachother, they shared similiar wounds, similiar soul, feel connected, building meaningful moment together & they both hv grown & become their very own best version and hv their personal growth with how supportive they are to eachother.
SJ has never been an option for JG, people can't feel love just because they want it to or just because he's been there longer with her, quality time matters the most, and for JG it's SH's.

Ohh haha, I love SJ but here's not enough reason for me to support SJ end up with JG. SH has always been the one for JG who acknowledge & appreciate her true self first even before she's appreciating her ownself, giving her all the support she needed for her having her own personal growth, a perfect boyfriend for her, they hv a deeper connection & beautiful moment than any scene shown of SJ JG hence this time I fully support the FL&FML to be together.

HJP however is a rare case where I find he's actually a FML gone wrong instead of a SML, lol, he is the one who help the FL to grow as a person & even their past background I find more solid than most main leads past connection in some drama, the FL even choose him first & feel connected with HJP than with the FML, so no wonder the severe SLS I hv to go through, I barely survive from SU, lol

After the timeskip SJ was there with her just like any of her close friends will do for her, celebrating bday, hangout with friends, etc I don't find their moments are that special unlike her moments with SH so imo not enough reason to fall for him & she never look at him that way/ more than friends.

Oh I think because they're eachother's first love also matters here so it's longer & harder for them to move on. Someone said that the time you'll need to completely move on/heal from your past relationship with your first bf/gf who's your first love is 3 times longer than the time you've spent together/built and shared moments togetherwith, and I find it's kinda true for my case, lol.

Whether it's past or present, I choose the man whose my heart is drawn to. Despite being the past, let's not forget how he's been constantly be there for her & give her his support he could ever give, until his situation forcing him to leave.
It's not about who's been there with us the longest, but which one we connect the most deep down with our soul, how we feel connected.
JG has never hv any feelings towards SJ so he's never an option to begin with.
I hv my childhood friend too whose been there with me most of the time, but do we hv to become lovers just because of it? Why can't man & woman become best friends only? If people don't click they never will no matter how long you've been together or wait, at least that's for me :)

To those who keep trashing this beautiful drama for no reason other than just because the SML doesn't end up with the FL.

Keep asking them to neglect all the constant development and beautiful bonding between the FL & FML, how supportive they are to eachother & how they have every reason to be together. Neglecting how each characters here has their personal growth, beautiful friendship, how hilarious, refreshing & such a joyful series this one is.

Instead of being thankful how even the SML here has his own character's arc, great characterization with depth, loving family, plenty supportive friends, beautiful bonding as best friends, reach his dream, and even have his very own OST being released! To the point even renting the whole Lotte World for him! Which other drama ever does that for their SML??
When in the original webtoon itself he doesn't even end up with the FL.

He's called a SML for a reason. It'd be different if narrative wise they divide the FML story as their central plot & SML story as the FL romantic partner, but it has never been the case here.
Better hoping for his future drama as FML than being bitter for no reason, just saying.

Why asking them to be like the webtoon when the drama itself is far more meaningful, beautiful, refreshing & wholesome I'll never get why.

Ikr? agreed, the webtoon is draggy for no reason & now landing at the land of nowhere. The drama is so much better in everything, from JG's personal growth, characterization & story development.

She broke up with him in the webtoon & Suho came into the picture once more so what's the point of following the webtoon when it's no better?

Nothing has to do with woman's dignity, their circumstance led to their break up, it's a better choice for them so both can focus more on what's important to them at that moment, their study & family in need.

it's her choice, their choice if they want to reconcile as they're both still in love with eachother.
He doesn't expect her to wait, but he was hopeful after seeing her at the place they're agreed to meet, knowing she was there obv thinking of him anyone would be hopeful. He's trying to break the ice by being all playful but it doesn't mean he isn't nervous nor belittling her feelings.

I've been trying to stay away far from love triangle too after what I've suffered from SU, many ppl start this drama right away but I was refraining myself & never once look for it until tvnasia play it on my tv which later got me hooked after watching it randomly & look at me now being so much invested, lol, not regretting it whatsoever tho, hehe

Nope, all the development romance wise, the one who help her character's growth etc goes for the right partner & she end up with him.

She need to put him down first before able to take him back, which has never been the case

We see JG's growth as well tho, they actually ending it pretty nicely for everyone although yes I do hope for less love triangle, the way they did ep 15 isn't necessary

What's great here is how they make SHSJ as best friends, on SU it's so hard to watch because all of the pettiness & backstabbing overshadowed everything making the love triangle is so unbearable to watch. Here, SHSJ friendship is as meaningful as the OTP romance, so the drama executed it well in both friendship & romance. Although I find it unnecessary to drag the love triangle till ep 15, the drama does it well overall.

Aside of TB, other drama that I find excels in executing both romance wise & friendship wise is Someday or Oneday, a beautiful & meaningful drama.

Yes, so much drama on ep 15 it hurts me when watching them live that I choose to watch ep 16 live first than ep 15 subbed, thank goodness ep 16 wrapped up everything nicely, now I can watch ep 15 with peace or even skip it altogether, lol
