Can anyone tell me the relation bw Lee Hyun Kyu and Cha Joo Ik. I know they are room mates but how are they related?
What I get so far: - Joo Ik used to be Hyun Kyu's tutor - at Hyun Kyu's SAT exams day, Joo ik gave him some tteok (to wish him goodluck maybe) but turns out it led Hyun Kyu's to fail his SAT as he's having a bad stomachache - Hyun Kyu seems to get (even more) attached to Joo Ik eversince that day - not even sure if he ever went abroad, what I get is HK seem to be lying to all of his friends about his background or how he went abroad, either to save his face or from his own insecure feelings & he didn't want to drag Ji Na in his lie or any other reason he might be having to keep running away from her.
Sondia is my fav OSTs singer, so am so happy to hear she'll release an OST esp for Joo Ik & Ji Na. My fav character from this entire drama & fav singer will be united 😍🙌
At this rate I care more about Cha Joo Ik's well being than the whole existence of Myeol Mang himself. I love Joo Ik as a character including all of his flaws, I find his character refreshing, intriguing, interesting & I look forward to his scenes the most from this entire drama.
I'm enjoying all interaction between all the characters as well actually, tho except at those with MM, which's an irony since this drama had him as their main theme & give the most screentime to him, I just can't relate to him as a character, he feels like he is in his own world doing nothing while the other human being interact with eachother 😅
Btw, my fav quote of the day from Joo Ik: "You have a long way of saying that you're dinosaur" 😂
Is it really necessary for them to throw that annoying thrope when their story barely even move? gosh, we'll be running on circles once again!! Were the writer running out of idea? Where's the plot? #ep12preview
I agree! I love all the actors but I feel there's just something missing in the plot. Also, I thought the character…
Thank you for your kind understanding, am just trying to give my pov as I hope ppl won't be hurt thinking I give this show some hate or something. I really want to like this drama more & hoping for the best remaining ep from them 🤧

Ikr?! Actually am trying to figure out what's missing/ lacking as well & here's what I think: 1. I feel like they don't know what they want to be, so everything was half baked: - comedy: not that funny - Melo: not that sad as they remove all the potential sad thing from their theme: DK's pain & DK's future death (as we don't know MM's capability) - Fantasy: what fantasy when we know nothing about the Deity & Doom's world - romance: not even believable enough 2. Doom & Deity are not human, so it's harder to feel relate to them to begin with, ie: when they show Doom were in every misfortune situation & blame himself, I can only raise my eyebrows, I mean, why he's even feel like that, it's his job & reason why he's exist, it's not his fault as it's not even by his will. Weren't all arranged by the Deity? 3. But instead of making us feel relate to them (Doom & Deity) & show what's on their mind, what rules they have, they choose to tell everything by rambling random philosophy 4. 2nd lead story were actually promising, but they barely even show up so the drama just waste their max potential to develop their story better. 5. 1st lead romance came out from nowhere, they went from 0 to 100 that instant without proper development, like they barely knew eachother, argue, suddenly already way deep in love so their romance feel flat. Doom just went from fierce to puppy in a blink, lol. 6. Horrible pacing, story went on circle & repetitive even since their early ep.
I really like the cast, they're my fav & I think they already did everything they can tbh, but idk what's the writer & director thinking, they wasted 10 ep just like that. I feel like I barely knew MC characters as if I'm still at ep 1 when in fact I'm at ep 10 , they just feel distant. I'm all into romance & skinship in a drama but only if I can buy their relationship, but here so far, unfortunately the MC's did nothing to me.
Am literally hanging on this drama for every crumbs they give for Joo Ik-Ji Na-Hyun Kyu (esp Joo Ik), the most interesting part from the drama for me but sadly have been given a very minimal screentime & were treated only as fillers/ supporting roles.
They spend so much screen time to show all the push & pull romance between DK & MM which I find the least interesting part of this drama & reason why i find it becomes boring esp to see how repetitive they are. They shd hv develop a proper background/ moment why the leads are falling for eachother rather than give us lovey dovey romance that ppl find hard to believe/ to root for.
Tbh, people actually can just read their summary & jump right off to their 10th ep & they can follow their story just right as we are now. Nothing is happening, no clue nor theory was given except some thrown random romance. We know nothing about Doom & the Deity just as we all are on ep 1.
Ep 6: Lol at the thing he said to her & Lmao at her reaction & what she did to get back at him. As expected, if your partner is simple minded, then so does your relationship! Hahahahha
I love both Lee Dam-Woo Yeo's & second couple's dynamics, just perfect pairing! Both FLs are hilarious with excelent comedic timing while MLs are soft yet quite clueless, am seriously loving whoever did the show's directing & their characterization. Each character has been adorable, rootable but hv their own antics to stand out as their own.
So far 6 ep has been well made & efficient to make me root for both couple. Comedy has always been spot on & sad moment tug my heart too, hope they can keep this up until their last ep!
This is presented as a romcom but in my opinion, it falls better in the category of melodrama. Of course, not…
Yeah, I agree, their theme actually suit more as melo than romcom but idk I feel like everything was half baked & probably suffer from the odd pacing/ writing they have, thus even with its sad theme, I haven't cry one bit (& this coming from a person who usually easy to shed tears). 10 ep pass by & am still having a hard time to buy their relationship, let alone invest on it. And since we ain't clear yet on Doom's capability or limidity to save DK, I don't feel the urgency of what's upcoming ahead.
Since you're doing this in an objective way, I want to just say that the reason it has some parallels to goblin…
I agree about the falling scene taken from Tale of Nine Tail, it's very similiar which I've also noticed rightaway as both FL use "that" to "test" the ML. Both scenes were eyerolls worthy for me since both FL did that when they barely knew the ML, but here even worst since the ML is the real definition of doom & destruction himself, a stupid & ilogical move I'd say.
Tbh?, not really, poor script, pretty bad pacing with disjoint flow & on off relationship that just keep went on circles without a proper development, just mediocre, but feel free to try & judge it for yourself.
