Yes Pei has sad backstory but it doesn't negate the fact he's an egoistic, awful person who doesn't care to hurt others as long he gets what he wants including doing dirty works.

Their dating era? Usually in most drama, it gets boring when the leads got together, but this one, gosh I'm squealing, giggling & kicking my feet coz how adorable & loving it is. The flow? beautiful, them being all lovey dovey? Heartfluttering much.

Kuddos to the actors, directors & screenwriters, they made their relationship progress beautifully thus it doesn't feel like acting at all.
